1.
Rowie-the-Pooh Good for you! your first kill!!!! I only advise that unlike deer hunters etc...tick hunters should not stuff and mount their first kill for display for freinds and family in the rec room. Just keep at it as Daisysmom mentioned the ticks and fleas do seem to be getting worse as each year passes...I have never had the problems in the past with ticks as I have had the last 2 summers... I usually go over my dogs with a fine tooth comb (exaggeration) when we get back from walks and I have to check my cats over daily also. Its a difficult thing to do, dealing with ticks...but I'm glad your not letting it get you down.
   Thank you! No way am I gonna let those ticks bring me down! No way am I gonna give up! :D I'm just glad everything is better...
2. Where are the pics? :bigcry:
3. I have a book that says the most clever dog in the world(I think) was a Fox Terrier(I think) who knew square roots and would help his owners children with thier homework! :o (I wish I had him!)
4.   This horrible person must go to HELL! WHY did she keep the dog locked up? What did it do to her?! R.I.P Poppy!

6.

one time one of my dogs had poop on its teeth and when the dog licked me it got in my mouth...I will never forget that bad experience
:o :o :o BTW, Rowie-the-pooch, I really like the golden picture that appears below your posts! Is that a soft toy??
Thank you! :D Yes it is a soft toy, I can try to get one on your breed for your dog if you like, what breed is Cosmic? PM me if you like!
7. Yes, I agree, maybe a shorter clip, but not so short as Mimi's. :D Good Luck and post pics of her after the clip! :D
8. Thank you all, my eyes are watering because never have I met a group of people so nice and understanding. Who actually UNDERSTAND when I talk about my dog and my concernes, and who actually LISTEN! Thank you all... Rowie's ticks have (thankfully!) reduced in number, I guess it's the medicine... I also removed some with tweezers(don't worry, I got EVERYTHING right and even burned the ticks in alcahol ) I'm going to call the vets soon, and then take Rowie over there. I'll ask her all the Q's.... Also, we're going to spray the garden with Pesticide. My mom called the guy who did it for us last time(for the ants! :o) and he said sure. During that time Rowie will stay inside with us! YEA! :D Things have DEFINATLY improved! Thank you all! Where would I be without your help? It's making me cry just thinking about how supportive you have been to me... I love you all!
9. OMD!!! What a horrible person! PLEASE try and get her fired! :o
10.
SHe is beautiful, natural ears and all. I think that my next dog will be a natural eared female. I had drey's ears cropped and now i kinda wish i hadnt. He looks really good with them done but the more dogs i see the more personality i see form the ears. :(
I agree! She has such floppy ears! I absaloutly LOVE APBT ears! Thier too floppy for words! Kiwi: Kobi has grown from a cute little bouncy floppy puppy, into a big, beautiful, elegant, frog sitting position, doggy! She is so cute!! :D Can we have more pics?! PLEASE?! :D

12. Good Luck! :D Keep us updated! I am FULL of suspense! LOL!
13. Oh! The little Mimi is a darling! :D I LOVE her clip! It really depends on you. Is it hot where you live? Then maybe a shorter clip. If it's OK, then you can keep it medium sized or even long. You and your fiance should work out an agreement. I think your little darling is fine the way she is though! But you two should work out an agreement.... Mouse: I agree, a dog wearing clothes is sad.... :(
14. There has been alot of talk about breeding these days on the forum, so I'll post this AMAZING website, it just shows you the cost of breeding. I LOVE it! :D http://www.bluegrace.com/virtualbreeding.html Enjoy! :D
15. Thank you Cassie, I'm doing the best in my power to stop them, even if it costs me 10000000000! :( I feel so bad... WILL UPDATE SOON!

18.
It's almost impossible to visit the animal shelter without coming home with a furkid, isn't it?
I agree! Marble: Your most welcome! Anything to help out a friend! :D I think Savean's idea is WONDERFUL! Try to contact your local Dobie rescue and tell them about this wonderful pup... :) If you can't adopt her, then atleast in Dobie Rescue she'll be given to a wonderful home, and won't be put down... :D PLEASE keep us updated! You could be saving this pup's LIFE! :D
19. Thank you all! Well, we called the vet, she said that the substance that we use to rid Rowie of the ticks (the one after the showers) can be used as a pesticide too. She said we spray it on our garden. :-? I'm not sure, but that seems wierd to me.... Well, she's not going to the boarding kennels... :( The poor baby, I know she would have loved it! Meehs, the problem is, I live in Bahrain, where you can get NO doggie products... :( Only the basics like beds, leashes, collars, flea and tick collars(which are useless! ) Etc. Other stuff are really rare, but there is this really good pet store(against puppy mills) here that has most of the things I need, I don't know what I'de do without it! :( I feel so sorry for my Rowie Pooh, she looks so pathetic... :( Ok, so since I can't go to my aunts, what should I do? Here is what I'm going to do so far: 1) Get someone to spray the garden with a pesticide. (and keep her in the house too! I told my mom already, we're going to keep her in an X-pen in my room while I'm not there so she won't disturb my grandfather). 2) Get a bug zapper( doesn't help much does it?) :-? 3) Order "Frontline" or something like that from the internet... I don't care what my mom sais! 4) Take her to the vet! Just a question, since she has all these scabs, won't it irritate her skin if I put "Frontline" on? Or any other flea/tick product? I feel so confused.... :( Thanks guys for helping me out in my time of need! I love you all!
20. Come on guys, please? I'm posting to keep this topic on the front page, I really need help!
21. Beautiful Barbi! The Beagle and the Australian Shepard where stunning! :D
22. Oh DARN! All the pics are together! Ok then, look at the puppy that is lying down in the LAST row, in the grass, after the puppies in the pot pic, do you see it? :D The light colored one.... Also forgot to add, if she is a dobe, you will need to do your homework on the breed!
23. Does she look anything like this? Then she may be a Dobe... I agree with Aroura, as much as you love her, as much as you want her, you don't have the time/money, and it wouldn't be fair for her. Maybe you can do some searching and find a good home for her? Believe me you'll feel great! :D There was this one pup once which I fell in LOVE with, and I mean it! I really wanted him, but I knew I would never be able to keep him. I didn't even have Rowie for a year, she wasn't fully trained, and wasn't mature. I felt first that once Rowie has calmed down, and that I've succesfully trained her(basics), that I would be able to get a new addistion to the family.. :P There was also Lisa, a VERY CUTE Jack Russel mix at the pound before I got Rowie. We lives in a different house then, with a small garden, a ALWAYS open front gate, and in the city. This puppy was the cutest darling! And only 8 wks old! I did some research on Jack Russels, and found out, that unfourtunatly, it would never work out. :( Jack Russels weren't for first time owners, they are BIG dogs in small bodies. Plus, I had a small garden, with a gate that was always open. It was just too risky. I went to the pound the next day, and lo and behold! A very nice couple were adopting her! :D They where expierinced owners, had a lovely house, everything! I gave Lisa a farewell kiss, and prayed her a better life... :D Sorry for the long story, just something to show you we ALL fall in love with those sad pound puppy eyes....
24. Sorry, can't help you there, cuz my dog isn't afraid of ANYTHING! I swear, she can stand there, in the pouring rain, with thunder and lighting and everything, and NOT get scared! I get scared! She's just a very wierd dog she is...
25.
Lemon-dog, just disregard what they wrote. The person is just generalizing and stating a sick opinion. There are no bad dogs, just bad breeders/owners.
I agree, this is probably just some troll trying to work things up at your board. What a mean thing to say! Just ignore him/her! Awww! Don't stay too sad, you know you can always talk about Staffies here and know you'll get positive answers(specially from K)!
