I know what it means- but it is also the name of a wine club my dad and a few of his friends created, and that's what bk was named after. "Lightning attack/war" also suits his personality- especially when he used to divebomb Rinny. My uncle was going to do something with the internet (dunno what exactly) so that every time some neo-Nazi web surfer looked up Blitzkrieg, they would get my dog. LOL.

I haven't met a dog with the name Blitzkrieg yet! :) I bet there are some out there, somewhere... to start a support group... :drinking:

It happens here to an extent too. Someone can break into your house with the intention of stealing YOUR possessions, and if YOUR dog attacks them, or you attack them with no claim to self defence, YOU can get sued!! How unfair is that?! :evil: I think Nancy said it best- people refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. If you intend to steal someone's stuff don't come crying to the lawyers if you get a broken arm over it. Idiots. If I *wanted* people to steal my things without getting kneecapped, I'd leave the door open, or hell, leave it on the front verandah, and lock the dog in the attic. :evil:

I don't know, bk was snipped at 6 months and he is still very "intact" in his behaviour at age 7. If ever there was a glint in a dog's eye, it's in his. :wink: I don't think you've got anything to lose by neutering him. It has a lot of benefits and yes, he should be mature by now, so his personality shouldn't be too affected. :)

DP/WL- how do you pronounce Tyr? I've meant to ask for a while now. :oops: The publican where our band used to play had a Rotty puppy called Tier (pronounced tee-air) which meant "beast" in German. He was the most ADORABLE little thing, we used to go upstairs in our breaks and play with him! :angel: So it is pronounced anything like that?
