When Rinny was still alive BK being alpha would pick what bed he wanted and Rinny would have the other one, if BK felt like swapping he would just go and flop on top of Rinny until Rinny got sick of it and moved. :roll:

No way should they stop breeding Rotties. BAD breeding should be stopped or made illegal or something (don't know how this could be implemented though? licences??), people should not buy dogs on a whim but do their research properly and know exactly what they're getting themselves into and not get something totally unsuitable for their lifestyle. They should also know how to look after a dog- exercise, socialisation, obedience etc. so the dog has a chance to be well-adjusted and happy. I would trust my big boofhead BK not to bite me more than I would trust my grandpa's little dachshund, because BK is well-socialised, not spoiled rotten, obedient (mostly :wink: ), and because he HAS to be- otherwise a dog like him would be PTS first time he bit someone. A dachshund growling at or biting someone is not seen as terribly scary by most people- a blue heeler or similar "nasty" dog is. Punish the deed, not the breed. :angel:
