2. Carse has his "happy time" when he gets bored. Its so freakin nasty lmfao. I know, I know, its natural.. but c'mon now. Does he have to suck so damn loud? :o Its so gross.. he'll be sittin there slurpin and lickin and having leg spasms. He loves doin that when we go camping.. I think its a dominance thing there, with all the smells. Dogs are so wierd sometimes.
3.
JC cant even reach the toilet bowl....hehe

4. :o :o :o
5. Omg, she's freakin adorable. She's really shy and scared, but she's doing good. She's terrified of going downstairs.. but with treats she can get down. She has no intrest in toys/balls or whatever, but thats ok. She's a doll.. walks amazing on a leash, no pulling or anything. Here's Wendy! :D Pretty girl.. Walkin' pretty (with me! :D ) You can see in this one how skinny she is.. she's also is just gettin over havin 10 puppies! Can ya tell? :o :o  More pics when I go over again.. she's a complete doll. She even rolled over on her side for us to pet her belly! She's gettin comfy there.. its a good thing. I worked with her for a bit on sit, if you have a treat and say sit, she'll slowly sit down. :D She's a great puppy. I'm betting Diane's family is gonna end up keeping her.. Diane's hooked already.
6. I dont think they wanted a pup AT ALL. Her moms kinda a complete neat freak.. she loves dogs.. but she's a complete neat freak. I dont know how they got through the puppy stage with their dog they have now. She's mellow as hell though, so that prolly helps. I'm going over in 3 mins, bringing my camera! :D :D
7. Since the hurricane, my friend Diane's family has been thinking about getting a foster to take care of until s/he's healthy and ready to adopt. Well.. they are! They got "approved" earlier this week, and theres a momma doggy who's had pups, but no one wants to take her. :( So Diane's mom said they would be happy to take care of her. So they're out getting her today! :D :D I'll be going over sometime this weekend to say hi and see how she's doing, I'll be sure to take some pics. Excitement!
8.
I read the other thread and in defense of Dr. J I never got the impression that he was being "holier than thou", ESS. I too think he deserves an apology.
I know. I'm sorry, Jeff. I guess I just know that R2's training methods *do* work, and the way he was putting them down was just pissing me off. She doesnt know all she learned from a book, she has hands on experience.
9. I dont think so.. S'long as it works for her! If she's all wags and sniffs around it now, I dont see how its bad.
10. From what I've heard from Jeff and ya'll, seems like he just thinks dog. He does what an alpha dog in a pack would do.. I see no prollem with that. S'long as no doggies get hurt.. Works for me. Sometimes the clicker just doesnt do it for Carse.
11.
When I left Texas, my plane was an hour late, so I had a chicken caesar salad at Bennigan's (that was right next to my gate). Yummy!
mmm.. yum! I'm jelous. OHHH, has anyone been to Fuddruckers (as my friend calls them, fudd fuckers), and gotten their ceasar salads? Good lord, those things could feed an army! :o
12. *eats another cruton* Yum!
13. I like ceasar salads... :D Good training tools too. Carson likes crutons! :drinking:
14.
:o What an idiot. What I dont' understand is when you take your dog to puppy class, or obediance class or whatever class, you're there to be taught by someone who (usually) knows their stuff about dog. So what I don't get is when the student tries to know all and teach the teacher... what's up with that? Why even bring your dog to class if you're not willing to use the teacher's methods
And she had to deal with my dad.
15. :o :o :o People are idiots sometimes. Really, they are. It amazes me what they think is ok.
16.
i think gaia is like a cheetah when she runs -- i wish you could see this dog run she tears it up -- she outran an italian greyhound!
She really does look like a cheetah...
17. Carson thinks he's a lap dog. And a cat. A 55 lb cat. :o
18. *takes down notes* Carse is such a retard. If we leave out stuffies and what not, he'll chew em up, but only if we're not there, mind you. But if we are there, he tries to find ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he can to chew on, run around with, etc to get our attention. Of course it works, mother doesnt want her $70 shoes to be chewed up. So now he'll always go chew on stuff that he knows will get us up.. grr.. stupid smart clever stubborn doggie. Suggestions please! *hijacks thread* :P :P
19. Well, Carse is two.. but springers are puppies till they're about 9.
20. Ohh, I know the feeling. How many sandwiches, loafs of bread, banana bread, bags of hotdog/hamburger buns, cookies, etc Carson has eaten. Grr.. puppies.. So suggestions, just sympathy.
21. I like that judge.
22. I think we should sticky this in here or in the health section.
23. Nikki got spayed today (and got her hernia removed) and she's wild and crazy like always. I know, I konw, she isnt a dog, but c'mon now. Its similar. Right? Well, since she's a lil bebe kitten, she doesnt really know what "no!" means. Such as not licking her stitches. The vet said that if she kept at it then we should go get her an e-collar.. but ya know.. That'll be tomorrow. Anything we can do now to keep her from buggin it too much? Kittens are freakin insane. -- Edited to add --- And by e-collar, I think they mean like an elizabethan cone head collar, right?
24. I wish we had known for Mocha! She would get so terrified. We would lay right down next to her, she'd be shaking, whining, drooling.. mah poor baby. She wouldnt go to sleep until an hour after the storm stopped. It didnt help that I have thunder phobia too.
