Well IMO I don't like breeding "mutts" on purpose. I say, If you want a small dog or if you want a mutt go to the pound. Just don't breed to add to the over population. Just my opinion...

My friends dog Diamond (golden/lab/something mix) who just got out of surgery. Kyra says that she has had most of the hair on her back shaved off and she's still kinda bloody. She has three tubes in for drainage, and Kyra says that she can't hug her because she whines. I feel sooo bad for little Diamond! Please all of you prayers/ good thoughts, vibes, what ever. The surgery was for two fatty tumors, but now they are thinking that one of them might be cancer (just heard this) so please lots of good vibes. Thanks you guys... :angel:

My goodness those have to be some of the gentlest dogs i have ever met!

She means (I think) that if your dog has high prey drive, or for example, when it see's a squirrel it'll about break it's neck to go and catch it, or just in general it has alot of hunting instinct, that an electronic fence may not stop him. Then if he gets out he may not want to come back in (thats the why get shocked 2 times part) or something.
