We got Kat yesterday!!! :jumpie: Shes even more scared than I thought she would be :( Shes even scared of our cat :lol: I felt so bad yesterday because we had to give her a flea bath so she didnt drag them in to Lucky and the house. She was so scared. Last night she barely untucked her tail at all and never pottied but this morning things went a bit better. Shes gone 1 and 2 and we went on a walk outside on her 30 ft leash which really came in handy. Kat thinks she owns the couch, lol, shes barely left it ...probably just because its comforting to her. :( She has loosened up though. Right now shes asleep next to me on the floor. :angel: I just love her to death but I hope she adjusts to all these things that frighten her so much. :( [img]http://tinypic.com/6pbvit.jpg[/img] More pics in the pic section! :wink:

Ok I moved! I have to say I really like the new house but what I like even more is.... My neighbor has a pit bull! AND SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! :iloveyou: ...my other neighbor is a cop... :scared: :lol: Ok so.... were pretty settled now and I might get Kat tomorrow or in 8 days. I wish Straydog would make upo their mind on whether or not theyre having Adoption Day tomorrow... :-? :x BTW look out for pics in the pics section today :wink:

Wow, thats awesome Abker. :D I just thought about it and I wonder how small my backyard is and how much equipment I cant fit back there...(I still havent seen my house yet :oops: Isnt that pathetic considering Im moving into it Wednesday?!) Shara, I bet Coal wasnt anywhere near as timid as Kat is... :o shes really sad to look at. No one could even tell she had a tail before I started walking her around to try to loosen her up a bit. She hides behind me whenever loud people come by and backs away from men completely. Im really hoping agility will do great things for her and me. :)

Youre pretty defensive, you know that? :-? People are just wondering why you have a litter of puppies ....and Kiwi gave you an answer, so what are you complaining about? :roll: If youre going to post about puppies on Dogo be prepared to be interogated because people here are very big on RESPONSIBLE breeding. I, too, would like to know where the pups came from.... if you were responsible you have nothing to worry about, so just answer. If you dont answer then thats when we get worried...

Dang why is agility equipment so expensive?!? :o Oh well, thanks for the advice and compliment about the lil kitty-boy! Anyhoo, I really hope Kat will be able to do agility... but I have the feeling that she will be too timid and not have enough enthusiasm for it. Oh and also with putting together my homemade stuff should be interesting... :lol: *crosses fingers* [b]Wish me and Kat luck![/b] 3 days til I move, 13 til I get Kat. Uh... what are some cat-friendly flea/tick(/misquito) treatments? (drops, collars, whatever)

Those are what I bought for Kat and now I just read that this is what has been killing cats... lovely. :roll: The phenothrin is whats toxic to cats so I guess Ill have to be careful about treatments. :-? At least we kept the reciept and I learned this before any damage could be done. :o

I have no idea what my first "real" job is going to be but for now, I think Im just going to walk dogs and do pet portraits. Thanks about the collar and leash. :D

Thanks Abker! :D Ill probably use your weave pole idea because going to buy a bunch of toilet plungers would be akward :lol: Im sure I can be creative in making equipment if every other option is too expensive. Hmmm, Im gonna have to get a job soon. :x

Rowie, dont worry my friend... Ill be posting pics so much youll want to kill me :lol: ...and I highly doubt youre excited as I am, lol, Im going out of my mind waiting.... :errrr: Coal, well they have Adoption Day at PetsMart every weekend but with July 4 coming up theyre worried about slow traffic. I could adopt Kat this weekend if I wanted to but the shelter is too far away to go and pick her up. And yuppers I wanna build the stuff on my own... its way too expensive otherwise.
