that's wonderful! :D i absolutely adore it and i'm sure that's exactly what oscar is thinking .... although i would love to have a king -- ours is only a full and he's growing so fast .... :-?

Griffin! i think that's great!

thanks all! i went to a few stores this weekend, but they're all on the other side of the city and knowing me -- i'll never get there and poor oscar will starve! so, we're going to try the new blue food you can get at petsmart. so now the next step. i give oscar a little plain yogurt every once and again and he gets an egg something like once a week .... what else is good for him? and then do i need to adjust the amount of kibble he gets to give him that stuff? Thanks!

yea, but oscar is so happy that i'm here. i've learned so much and now he's eating better and generally he thinks i'm becoming a better dog mom ... so it's worth my time ....

you have all of my best wishes - a terrible ordeal. but it's true, zebra is a very lucky guy to have you love him so much and go so far to keep him healthy. good luck with everything.

i don't know a whole lot about the issues, but she sure is gorgeous with her tail! i grew up with a shepherd that just knocked everything at tail level so we could never leave anything on the coffee table .... but he's such a good dog.

Thanks! I've been doing internet research since yesterday and you guys are right! wow, i never knew .... i found some smaller pet stores in the city that i'm going to check out, but they do have the blue at my petsmart, so i'm going to look into that one as well. convenience may be an issue - the petsmart is right by my office and i despise city traffic, but we'll see ....

I'm kind of new to the whole doggie world. I mean, I grew up with dogs, but Oscar is the first pup that I am making the decisions about. and loving and cuddling .... You all have been a fantastic help to me thus far and I just wanted to say thanks. And, the SPCA had Oscar on Iams Puppy so I kept him on it and he does have a pretty sensitive tummy .... but it is really junk food, huh? I have to buy puppy food today and I have been thinking about switching to something better .... so do they have the wellness and other ones you all talk about at places like petsmart? and - i know there's no answer to this -- but which is th best - without breaking the bank?
-
that's the other thing i was afraid of .... any suggestions?

My landlord is the sweetest man in the whole world and loves my puppy too but i live in the city and there is a mouse problem everywhere. He wants to put a sonic rodent repellent device in the house. He swears it won't affect Oscar at all, but i am a bit hesitant. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of things? Any input would be great! Thanks.

oh she's so beautiful!! gorgeous, i tell you .... looks a lot like my oscar, too!
Sure signs of RR are: Will confiscate the entire bed if ever allowed on it. Can hear the sound of a bag of cookies being opened over a blaring stereo and through the walls of 4 rooms. Will insist the best place to sit is on your feet or in your lap, regardless of age. Can sleep in the cats bed without hanging out. Will ignore EVERYTHING at dinner-time. Dinner-time lasts 2 seconds.
if that's true, my oscar surely is RR .... i think he has boxer in him, but i have no clue what else, but i'm sure she'll be the most wonderful pup ....

looks like my oscar is a pur pit .... he does all that. and i love it .... except when i try to do my yoga ....

i think that's a great tactic. that guy is only one example and i think i'd really lose it if the government took away my dog. good for you! please keep us posted.

so i have a question ... i got my Oscar from the SPCA when he was less than 2 months old and he had already been clipped. is that bad? why so they tell you to wait till 6 months? :-?
