4. Thanks everyone for your replies and support. I hope I make the right decision. I have alot to think about. I do not want anyone to get hurt, this includes my child(ren) and my furbabies. Thank you again.
5. Kendalyn you asked "Are they ok around each other when you are gone" and your answer is yes. They are perfectly ok when I am not around. I am starting to wonder maybe I am causing all these problems between my girls. I love my fur babies and I just want them to get along. I wish they could understand me. I am so heart broken. I don't know what to do. :(
6. A long time ago I wrote for advice on how to keep my girls from fighting and everyone gave great advice. The girls haven't had any issues for a very very long time. I have a problem again. I 4 months pregnant and since I became pregnant my girls are having major problems with one another. They are getting out of control. I have to crate them and never let one see the other while I am around. My male has no issues only the girls. The other night it was about 2 in the morning and I got up to use the bathroom and Free followed me there and on the way back Patti was waiting in the living room for us and all HECK broke loose. My son and boyfriend woke up to my screams thinking I was getting hurt. The girls were having an all out fight. Blood was fling and Asim was trying to help us break up the fight but nothing could break up the girls. Patti's ear is torn and Free has bite marks on her stomach. I have never seen 2 big dogs ever fight the way they did a few days ago. Well that was the last straw for my boyfriend. He wants to give away one of the girls ( Patti ). I totally understand that this type of behavior is not healthy. My boyfriend is scared for when the baby is born. He says what is going to happen if the baby is caught in the middle. Xavier ( my son ) is old enough to move away from the fight but not a baby. I agree with him and his concerns for the baby but,,,,,, I don't want to give up Patti. I feel awfull. I feel like a horrible pet owner. I hate it when people "get rid" of a pet and now I am going to be one of them. What should I do?
7. Aw yes. I noticed over the weekend how the hardwood floors had little layer of hair and the tumbleweeds in the corners. Yes spring has sprung.
8. I don't think it matters. I have nicknames for all of my dogs. My boyfriend swears by the 1 syllable.
9. Thanks. I did contact his vet and he is on antibiotics to help the redness and prevent infections.
10. I just noticd that Asim has a cut on his eye lid and his eyeball is all red. I think he might have scratched it but with what?? Does anyone have any suggestions to reduce the redness?
11. I am totally against it! I think it is another way greedy people are making money from mix breeding!

14.
Cropping is not done after 13 weeks. Veterinarians will not allow it after that, USUALLY, if they are good and smart. Like I said, I only agree with medical docking. Fashionable docking makes me sick, since it can cause sacral arthritis. I have seen many Rottweilers with tails, there are even a few breeders who keep the tails on, and the dogs are completely fine. Rottweilers are fashion-docked. Dobermans are usually docked because they have those lanky tails that can easily break, but I have seen Dobes with tails that were fine as well. Australian Shepherds are born with or without tails, so personally I would only have a natural bob-tailed Aussie if I were to have that breed.
Rottweilers were not "Fashion-docked". I have attached for you the history of tail docking from the website http://www.amrottclub.org/dock.htm History and Lore of Tail Docking There has been much written about why Rottweiler tails were originally docked. Most dogs with docked tails do work hunting, herding, droving or draft work. The hunting dogs (gundogs and working terriers) often had to work in dense vegetation and briars and the tail would get injured in the brush. Terriers went to ground after foxes, badgers or other game, and the docked tail facilitated working in a confined space. The other working and herding dogs, as well as the hunting dogs, were docked for hygiene reasons. Working and herding dogs worked livestock. Now, I'll ask you to visualize again; imagine you are in a barnyard in the spring If you have ever had the pleasure of doing chores around a barn, you know that stockdogs' tails, if not docked, will become fouled with the feces of the stock. On our dog's ancestors, this build up of feces acted like a weight on the tail and caused the tail to bang the hocks and become sore and sometimes cut. The feces also harbored bacteria and attracted flies, so the injured tail would become infected, causing the dog to become sick and possibly die. Since the Rottweiler was developed for cattle droving and general utility work on the farm, his tail was docked to prevent injury, sickness and death. In my opinion, docking prevented cruelty to working dogs. Perhaps you have heard the lore of the "tail tax", which supposedly was a luxury tax imposed on owners of nonworking dogs. Since most working/herding/hunting dogs had docked tails, I suppose this makes sense and could be the reason the Rottweiler tail is docked closer to the body than many of the smaller breeds in these categories ( Please keep in mind that the above was copied from the website.)
15. I have 3 dogs so I go through alot of food. At home we use a rubber garbage can with a lit. It works great. I look at it as a oversize tuperware.
16. Sleep tight Rosie. You will be missed by your love ones.
17. Very cute photos!!
18. Goodbye Lotta
19. Great news!
20. OMG this is too weird. :o I thought my dogs were crazy. Free is the tattle tail. Patty is the one who just sits back and watches everyone get in trouble and Asim is the bully. He will rip toys out of Free's mouth. Free will then come over to us and whine for it back and Patty just sits back and enjoys the whole circus!
21. I second Mouse's suggestion.
22. RnP > My boyfriend got the XBOX and love's those cords. I have to say it is not the dogs that walk into it, it would be me
23.
And I can't believe there are suckers out there paying $4,000 for a dog.
I 2nd that, especially if you can go to the animal shelter and find a loving dog who really needs a home for only the adoption fee.
