I am going to also try the home made shampoo that Cassie spoke off. ( I do have wall to wall 100 year old original hardwood floors, but where the dogs play alot I threw some area rugs down because they were ruining the floors since the wood is very soft, it is those area rugs that cost me alot of $$ that smells. Kat > I also have 2 plug in things for every room. I also tried the dry shampoo and the doggie perfume stuff. ) Everyone has been so helpfull. You guys are the greatest!!

Thanks everyone. I also use the carpet fresh from Arm and Hammer but with 3 big dogs it only last a couple of days. I think I am going to invest in the dehimidifier and also an air purifier. I heard the air purifier works wonders on the dander also that I see all over the TV and tables. OR,,,, I just might do what Marion said get a peg for my nose :lol: :lol:

It appears that Oscar is suffering from seperation from Zack and stress. The life that he is used to is no longer. He is confused. It will take a while for Oscar to feel better but he will feel better with time trust me. Give him extra love. To calm the diahrrea cook plain white rice and mix a cup with his food during every feeding. This will him bind him.

Poor Oscar. When I went away for a business trip my Patti had a tummy bug just like Oscar. I have a question, was Oscar close to your ex?

As the weather gets warmer here in Massachusetts the humidity also increases. We all know what this means the wonderfull doggie smell in carpets and furniture. The house never smells in the winter only when the weather is humid. The furniture and the rugs smell. I tried the water and vineger, simple solution, and the stuff from the pet store made for just doggie smell but all this just work for an hour or so and then the smell is back. I thinking of washing the carpets and furniture every week for the entire Summer but, that can be exhausting since I am 5 months pregnant now. Does anyone have suggestions.? ( Oh we bath the dogs every 2 to 3 weeks and on very hot days I hose them down when I am watering my flowers and lawn.)

Another story of a child walking into a strangers yard with dogs, the child get hurts and we all know what happens to the dogs afterwards. Hopefully everyone will see that the child was in the wrong.

Oh, my heart goes out to you. My girls fight off and on. Free and Patti fight only when I am around. Asim is in his own little world. I now learned what creates the fights and I keep the girls from being in any situation that will create it. I thought I read that you were having them fixed. This could help your problem. I am one for trying everything thing I can before rehoming.. Good luck.

I noticed that when we have Free spayed she began urinating all the time. She used to hold it for at least 4 - 5 hours now she has accidents. The vet checked her for UTI but came back negative. The vet then told me this happens to many dogs that are spayed. She said it has to do with moving her insides around??? :-? Is your girl spayed?
