1. I just love the new pics. He is adorable.
2. How exciting - congratulations.
3. That is great to hear.
4. That is so great to hear. Excellent job!!!
5. As a general rule ours get an hours walk each day, they are also free to fun around in the back yards as much as they want.
6. I'm a bit late in on this one, but glad to hear that Jesse seems to be getting better. Sending lots of positive thoughts.
7. I think the issue may be the time more so that the actual barking. 7.45 is still early and people may still be trying to sleep. Can you hold off on letting them out for another hour or so?
8. That's hilarious. Though I can image the mother of the child not being too impressed. What was the child's head doing so low to the ground anyway? We have to keep an eye on the head peeing thing when we take our two for a walk. Kira decides to sniff a tree and Indy decides to pee on the same one - quite a few times I've saved her from having her head peed on by yanking her out the way at the last second (she of course is oblivious)
9. HF, that picture is so cool. They look adorable together.
10. Courtnek, that is what I was going to say. Wouldn't the water turn the powder to paste???? I would just brush and bush and it will all come out eventually. It's not like it's going to hurt her and she will smell very nice.
11. I'm pretty sure I've already signed that one.
12. some people have way too much time on their hands
13. Shit. That would scare the bejesus out of me too.
14. He is very very cute. Congratulations
15. Sounds like you have the perfect little family there. :D
16. Oh what a cutie....
17. Happy Birthday Maya!!! :bday: :bday: :bday: She is such a gorgeous girl.
18. When I am the tablet giver I do the blowing on their nose thing.... Michael tends to forget though  But if she is just prepared to eat them of her own accord then I am all for that. :D
19. Last night we went to give Kira her worming tablets. As we normally do with both dogs Michael held her head back, put the tablet right at the back of her throat, held her mouth closed and tried to get her to swallow - she didn't, and the tablet came out and fell on the floor. Michael was just about to reach down and pick it up to do the whole process again when Kira bent her head down picked it up and ate it herself. It was so funny
20. Sometimes I just can't get over some of the scum that walk this earth. :(
21. Not me. I dont' think I could bear to hunt - I get upset when one of our office goldfish die. I'm also a very over protective Mum when it comes to my puppies. I would be way to worried about them getting hurt. I know that's what some dogs are bred to do but I don't think that I could help but worry.
22. Nope, no middle names... though I do call Indy, Indy Pindy and Kira, Kira Schmira yes I know I'm a nutter
23. Congratulations. That is great news. I am also one that thinks some rescues are getting way to extreme with this whole be with the dog 24x7 thing. It's a joke! In a perfect world people wouldn't have to work or could take their dogs to work with them but it's just not realistic. I think maybe 5% of the population would fall into this categoroy so rescues seem to be in a position of cutting off their nose to spite their face. :-?
24. 1. Do you have cats? If so, how do you keep the cats from going out the dog door? No cats 2. Do you allow your dog's access to the door when you are not home? Yes, they can go in and out their door 24x7 3. And if so, do your neighbors ever complain of them barking? Nope. Though being Mallies they aren't barkers. 4. What happens on days that are wet? Do you still let your dogs come and go as they please and track mud everywhere? Yes. Our dog door is in our laundry door which then goes into the kitchen. We then shut the kitchen doors so that is as far as they can go. The area is tiled so I'm not that fussed about muddy footprints in there.
25. I think dogs have pretty good memories. When we go for our walks Indy remembers which houses have dogs in the yard.
