1. What an asshole. You did the correct and sensible thing, however if it was me I don't think I would have been able to control myself. I would have either launched myself at him or I would have been yelling for my boyfriend to come outside and then the dickhead wouldn't have know what had hit him.
2. Congratulations on the up-coming litter. I too can't wait to see LOTS of pictures :D

8. Hey, I got a response!!! Here is what I received:
Melissa: You win! This email is the first from another continent. Thank you.
Though I have a feeling this guy doesn't really care about the issue. He just picked a controversial subject in order to gain attention/publicity - means more viewers right :-?
9. :o :o Wow, what a catch... she must be very quick. At the moment I am trying to teach Indy to catch a ball and half the time it just hits him in the head :-?
10. I just wanted to add that the guy even looks like a jerk
11. Here is my email: Mr Justice, For what it
12. Our dog seems to have an obsession with paper products as well. We just try to keep anything like that well out of his reach.
13.
i just worry that she'll be so bad with the other dogs that the trainer will kick her out or something........
Marble, don't worry about that. That's the whole purpose of going to training - to improve and work on the areas you are having issues with. Indy is not great with other dogs either and for a while there I was getting so embarrassed that I just didn't want to go to our training class anymore. However I kept at it because I figured he is not going to improve if I never let him be around other dogs. Also, it's not like you will be the only one whose dog has issues with other dogs. The other week at training we had 4 dominant males in our class that couldn't even make eye contact without going nuts  . The instructor just had to be a bit more inventive and think of things that we could do without getting too close to each other
14. Hey Big Guest, weren't you the one the other day that was saying that if your APBT was dog aggressive it was because it was not trained properly. The Big Guest wrote.....
SINCE SOME OF YOU CANNOT CONTROL YOUR PITBULL'S BEHAVIOR THROUGH PROPER TRAINING, YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THOSE OUT THERE THAT EXPLOIT THIS MAGNIFCANT DOG'S POWER AND USE IT TO ENDANGER PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS. CARE, CUSTODY AND CONTROL IS WHAT IS NEEDED HERE. IF YOUR PIT IS DOG AGRESSIVE THEN IT IS UN-TRAINED AND YOU HAVE MADE THE PIT NO BETTER THAN WHAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC TGHINKS ALREADY. YOU HAVE REINFORCED THE SCAR PITS HAVE ON SOCIETY. WHICH PUTS YOUR UN-TRAINED AGRESSIVE PIT IN THE VERY SAME CATAGORY AS THE DRUG DEALER'S PITBULLS IN THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S EYES. HOW VERY SAD AND TEARFUL FOR THIS WONDERFUL BREED.
Now you are saying it is because of a certain gene. Do you really have a genuine opinion on this subject or are you just trying to stir trouble..........
15. Weird.... the only thing I can't think of is that it may have some sort of funny smell that the dogs can pick up but you can't.
16. Congratulations!! She is very pretty. Is this in addition to the other pup you are getting - making a total of 4???
17. Aroura, sounds like a great day. I had the same type of thing in mind but ours didn't quite turn out the way we planned. We were originally going to take a nice long bush walk however there was a small bush fire in the area that we were going to go. :x We then decided to go in the opposite direction and take a different walking track instead, however about 15 minutes into the track we came to a set of metal stairs which were the only way to get down a steep rock face and Indy just refused to go down them. He is too heavy for us to carry him down them so we had to turn around and go home again :-?
18. My main query in this whole thread has been why is the dog park so important? I 100% agree that it is beneficial for dogs to get as much socialisation with other dogs throughout their lives as possible. However I believe that for some breeds it is better done in a more controlled environment than the dog park.
19.  I bet she'll milk it for as long as she can

24.
Lets not lable dog-aggression as a "bad" thing. Its just one of those things like shedding white fur on the black couch. you know you cant stop it, so you make certain changes (frequent grooming or buy white furniture)to make it not as bad.
I totally agree R&P!! To use a different analogy; we have a sports car that will stop on a 10 cent piece, so I admit I sometimes drive a little fast. Though because I know it handles and stops so well I am always in 100% control. However when I drive my boyfriend’s parent's 4WD which is a 2 tonne hunk of metal that takes A LOT longer to stop I drive soooo much slower. If you have two cars with different capabilities you drive them both differently so I don’t understand why it should be any different with dogs. When you have breeds of dogs that all have different traits you just need to limit yourself to activities that are suited to your particular breed. Just because Johnny does something with his breed A, doesn't necessarily mean you can or should do the same thing with your breed B. I think one of the biggest problems is people not doing their research BEFORE they decide on the breed of dog they get (they just seem to pick the cutest puppy) and then get surprised when their dog shows a trait that the breed is renowned for.
25. Wow, it's looking fantastic :D
