  1. Phoenix has been found! She ended up at a house close to where she was lost. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!
  2. Here is the info from my friend. "Today, we took the dog with us out to the land in Cumberland to do some more work on the range and do some shooting. At some point after lunch, she managed to get loose from her collar (which had all her ID info) and run off. After hours of searching we turned up nothing. I took the kids back to the house, while my friend continued to look for her, and went back out to try and find her. After combing the area, a good portion of the state forest there, darkness put an end to my search. We're going out again tomorrow to try to find her. We lost her on a plot of land on Jenkins Church Road, adjacent to the state forest there, so if anyone is around those parts, please get in touch with me. This is about 2 miles from the Route 45 and Route 60 intersection. She's a 4-5 year old (adopted from the pound so not sure of the exact age) red (brownish) doberman. Her ears aren't cropped, so she looks like a really small doe. She's wearing a red flea collar and answers to the name of Phoenix. If any of you guys/gals come across her, please hold onto her and let me know, as she's not a hunting dog at all, but part of the family, and the kids (not to mention myself and the wife) really miss her. PLease crosspost. Anything that anyone can do is appreciated, thank you.
  3. Oh no! One of my friends from another message board is missing his dog! Here are the details as far as I know them. She is a rust and tan Dobie, I think about 5 years old or so. Her name is Phoenix and she escaped her leash in Cumberland about 45 minutes from where she lives yesterday afternoon. I gave him some advice, calling local vets, shelters etc but I thought I'd give a Dogo heads up. So if anyone is in the area and sees her, well, hold onto her and email me. Or leave a message for me here. I will be checking back shortly with a little bit more info when it becomes available. ( like his contact info, I just missed him online a lil while ago.
  4. My thoughts are with you.
  5. Welcome back Naomi!!!
  6. I'm very glad to see that you went with the "leg" option. I commend you on your choice of legs, they are very fitting for him. What a cutie.
  7. Good luck ( yeah like you'll need it  ) to my NZ darlings. If you win Kiwi, I have something "special" for you.
  8. Off topic, but OMD Ellie Rio's become so pretty! I love the brown between his toes. Ellie's dainty self control is gorgeous.
  9. Hey Holz? Could you type regurlarly? Capitializing every word makes it very hard to read. I think the spray bottle is a good idea, it will certainly teach him the meaning of the word "no" in a hurry. ( Unless of course he's like my dal was, he LOVED being sprayed.) And what puppy isn't a brat?
  10. I think people are getting sick of me.....it's the only thing I've been talking about today.
  11. I know I'm a nitpicker, but guys you ARE killing me! It's DalmatiAn! I have seen that pet story before, she was a cute dog. Made me miss my old spotted beasties.

  13. Sorry, I am too happy about this to put it in the news section. I have been noticeing fliers all over town lately that talk about a missing mini Schnauzer. Every time time I see the fliers I feel bad, because really, how often do lost dogs get found in this neighborhood. Well here you go... Posted on Wed, Oct. 08, 2003 Duluth News Tribune Eh? (a) interj. 1. A sound expressing surprise or inquiry. 2. A column of offbeat tidbits and news you can use. Schnauzer is quite the survivor A scrappy little schnauzer survived 10 days in a hole near Duluth's Central Administration Building before being rescued Tuesday by two school employees. The dog disappeared when Gary Anderson, a long-haul truck driver and architecture buff, was looking at the historic brownstone building after celebrating his birthday in Duluth. He had just dropped a load of steel off and wanted to spend some rest time here with his dog. Chief, the schnauzer, is Anderson's traveling companion. He doesn't have children or a family and, given that he spends most of his time on the road, Chief is with him all the time. "That's my little buddy, my little kid," he said. Chief and Anderson had wandered around town and along the Lakewalk before walking to the Central Administration Building. Anderson had been looking intently at the building when he noticed Chief was missing. "I heard him cry," he said. "He was hanging on for dear life." At first, he thought a group of kids nearby had stolen him. He scoured the area and stayed another four days to staple thousands of fliers around town offering a reward to return Chief. On Tuesday, two school district employees were looking for a place to put a "no smoking" sign and came to a place where some steps had caved in. They saw brown eyes looking out at them. With the help of a net, they pulled a skinny, hungry Chief out of the hole he had been trapped in for 10 days. Anderson, in a phone interview Tuesday night, said he is in Los Angeles waiting for his truck to be repaired. He also is calling every shipper he knows to see if anyone has a load they need a load hauled near here.
  14. I'm assuming you decided to go with the optional "leg feature" I'm glad he's adjusting and that he is home with momma where he belongs.
  15. When we got Ivan, as a nine week old Dalmatian pup, our 10 year old female Dal, Phyliss was slightly misearable. She too didn't know what to make of this small annoying being. We built a gate type door for the kitchen so they could have a time out for each other. It worked pretty well.
  16. Do you think her boyfriend's parents will take her for a lil "vacation" while things are so hectic for you? She is most likely picking up on your mood right now too, which may be one of the reasons she is being such a brat. ???
  17. Yay a new puppy. You lucky woman you. I commend you on your good deed. We want pictures!!!
  18. It's not your fault K.

  20. If your ferrets aren't litter trained why do you let the run all over and make messes? :o
  21. Yeah I think it's too bad you didn't get a chance to tell her that you have a Pit (ish) Bull as well. You use the word wonky, I thought I was the only one!
