Just for the record, we are in the same boat, sometimes it is the only thing to do, whether it be for canine or human.

We use a slip leash when we walk Conar. He still has his regualr collar on , but with all that fur that he has its a pain in the butt to try to find the ring. I looooooooooooooooooooooove the slip leash.

I don't know what your background is Aonir or how old you may be, but I'm going to voice a few things. You may believe abortion is wrong, that is fine and dandy, those are your beliefs and I have no right to question them. But there is a huge difference between aborting a canine pregnancy and a human one. Too often people personify animals. Sorry no matter how much we love them, they are just that, animals, they are not little people in fur suits. They will not know that they were going to be mothers and will not face the same regret that most of us would at a terminated pregnancy. In effect what you are saying is that the moment that a mammal has its first heat ( or menstrual cycle if you will) it is emotionally/phsically ready to reproduce. I will not start in on the human side of things, but dogwise, spaying the bitch right now will most likely save her life. *Insert Kiwi's reply here*

Well at least Saffire has the dogs best interests in mind and was waiting for the dog to get back to good health before any operations. And she [i]did[/i] say that she was going to get her spayed. Good job Saffire for rescueing this poor pooch! We want pictures!

Shara, Dalmatian, Dalmatian, Dalmatian! But do me a favor and find a Liver spotted one, they don't get half as much recognition as they deserve and they are a very striking looking dog. Two of my three Dals were liver spots.

Ohhhhhh Courtnek, have fun in my beloved Portland. Take pictures of downtown for me! (since I was a loser and didnt take any when I was there.) Try to take a picture of the Crystal Ballroom ( 14th ave sw and Burnside) I used to work there. If you need to find something to do check out the Portland Mercury or the Willamette Week. Those are the weekly papers. ( [url]www.portlandmercury.com[/url] and [url]www.wweek.com[/url]) you can find them just about anywhere. If you want an interesting dining expierence go to Bistro Montage. (it is on Morrison St Se under the Morrison Bridge. ) Portland is cut in approximately 4 sections. Burnside Street divides North and south and the Willamette River divides east and west. ( oh and it's pronounced Will- lamb-it, Portlanders get pretty picky about that stuff.) The streets North of Burnside are in mostly alphabetical order. And for the most part the avenues are numbered and the streets are named and are with a few exceptions laid out in a grid. Super easy to get around. If you have been there before, ignore my PDX babbling. :lol: Also there is an internet cafe right off of Se Hawthorne Blvd ( 14 blocks south of burnside) at about 32 ave se. It's right around the corner from a futon shop in a yellowish building. ( Hint Hint Hint) Have Fun!
