You know, they do make mistakes! Plus sometimes it's someone else perpetrating a fraud on both you and the bank! That happened to us! An employee of a business we had paid out a sizable check to was recycling the old check numbers to get the bank to pay out and then pocketing the money! I had to raise a big stink to get the matter cleared up...and then I never did know if charges were brought against the embezzler! But don't you think the bank should know that that amount and check number had been paid out before? The check was written two years previous.....NOW WE BELONG TO A LOCAL CREDIT UNION! Hooray, and haven't had a problem since! Good Luck fighting the good fight!

Now that's a bone!!

Dang those banks! Does Elric consider this a reprieve?

HOW MANY DOGS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?
behle replied to Daisysmom's topic in Everything about dogs
Oh my dog! Both so true! I swear that Ben has turned into the worst kind of chow hound this winter! Spring better come soon or he won't be able to fit out the door! Boredom and inactivity is a horrible combination! (On a personal note: I am having a happy celebration today cruising around dogo because finally after waiting all school year we are having a SNOW DAY! Due to ice, not snow! I have the time to relax, be home and enjoy a quiet day and still get paid for it! Life is good today!) -
Rotties always seem to get that initial reaction.. But they soon show their true nature. My sister was fearful of rotties for over 20 years because a bad experience in her twenties with a "mean" rottie whose owners had him chained inside their house! But she said just last week, "Max has really changed my mind about rotties. He is a big affectionate well-behaved guy!" Hooray! Another convert. For those folks who are afraid of certain breeds - I think it is just as well they steer clear of our dogs. Our guys and girls don't need to be insulted! Whodoesthat, I too love the line about "still having hands left"!

Good Luck Aurora! University is challenging, but that is what also makes it fun. It's great to study, learn, and emerge victorious! Lily can be your study partner. I do think that fetching cool drinks and snacks for you as you study is a great idea! If she can sort out tomatoes she can certainly open the fridge door, nose through its contents and fish out a nice cool soda for you!!! :drink_2:

Ava, after seeing your dogs on Dogo I did some research on the internet about your impressive breed! They are just wonderful looking and from what I have read, they sound like excellent dogs for people who have space, time for training, and can handle such a magnificent breed. The pic is pretty small for me to see well, but from what I can see - WOW! I had never heard of this breed before, but they are awesome, beautiful dogs! They make my saint and rottie looks like medium sized guys! But I won't tell them that!

Lucky escape dog becomes champion

A great happy ending!! He was so lucky to have found his dog after it went missing for so long! And then to win at Crufts! -
Lily will come through with flying colors. Plus she will be a happier girl if she doesn't have to be frustrated all the time!

My neutered guys squat to pee - but after they are done, they go all around the yard lifting their leg marking everything in sight. It always amazes me just how earnest they are in this endeavor. No twig, weed, stump, is too big or too small to be marked. They have a particular fondness for marking around the area where the deer feed! You wouldn't think they'd have enough special "stuff" left to go around, but they somehow manage to squeeze a little more out. They have never marked or peed in the house. They are such good boys!

HOW MANY DOGS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

I've seen this list before Daisymom, but it is still funny. So are all the other postings about other breeds that you guys have added! -
I've gotta agree with DogPaddle on this one! It would help though, to have some clear guidelines established to prevent big ugly misunderstandings from occuring! :o

I know you are grieving, but remember all the good times! Furry Murray was one of a kind. I'll bet he is still large and in charge up at the Rainbow Bridge. He sounds like he was one great cat and is sorely missed!

Those ARE DALMATIAN CATS, aren't they Courtnek? She does have a lot of explaining to do!

Daisymom, I think Mouse is right. If Daisy is sensitive and misses Trixie, it very well could disturb her digestive system. I have had cats before that have suffered digestive upsets after losing their cat friend of many years. Some animals are more sensitive to things than we give them credit for! She may well be reacting to your level of stress as well. Good luck with Daisy! I'll be thinking about you both. :fadein:

Hello Marge! :smilecolros: Welcome to Dogomania! :D

Hi LovelyDiva! Welcome to Dogomania :laola: Glad to meet you and Oliver, Sasha, and Spaz! I am owned by a saint, a rottie, and two inside cats!
-
Oh, that's just awful, Julie! Sometimes it's just overwhelming, isn't it?
-
How could you not love something that is this cute? Granted, they sucker you in with all that cuteness and then only later reveal their true nature, like my evil (yet beloved) tortie, Paisley!

Fantastic showing, NancyB!! I would think that WOULD BE too taxing to run all three! CONGRATULATIONS MASON, WHIT, & GENT! :laola: :laola:

What a lovely little puppy! I hope it all turns out great for you and she is with you at home soon!

Thank you for the update. I was wondering how poor Gladis was doing. It's great to hear she can be without her attractive blue bandages!

Gosh Daisymom, I am so sorry this is happening to your girl. I wish I could offer up advice, but I don't have any experience with digestive troubles. I'm sure there are plenty of folks that can give you good advice. I'll be keeping Daisy and you in my thoughts!
