[color=darkred]I found mine, 11 years (this DECEMBER) :grins: We moved into our own house age 22, we only had the one dog (Patch) who lived with me at moms...now we have three, plus three cats! I could say life is wonderful but unfortunetely not where we live....well the house was cheapish and big enough to start a life of our own, we don't have children has yet but hoping to move before we do. We very much dislike the area we live in....most of the people are ignorent and inconsiderate of others property including ours :x My dream would be to live in a cottage out in the country....somewhere near the seaside In a place called Devon based in England or somewhere abroad, would be nice. Have never been so I can't say where LOL but I have seen some nice places on Holiday Homes :) Where ever it was there would have to be stables because I love horses! I used to spend loads of time with them, whether it was grooming or cleaning them out (mucky job) but I enjoyed it....riding is more fun though :P Of course if I won the lottery, buying my husband to be, a Calibra and myself a Horse would soon be on top of my list! I don't remember her much....this was wayyyy back in my childhood days and they lived in Swansea South Wales in the UK, so I didn't get to see her often living in the Midlands! She lived with Mick the Dalmation and Penny the Labrador, plus four cats [/color]:)

[color=darkred]Hi Starfox. I feed my dogs on Hero Complete now, that I buy from my local Supermarket. After trying them on various brands from the Pet Shop and having a Bullmastiff with a skin allergy, I found that this is most suitable for him! His skin and coat are very healthy with bright eyes and they love it. Occasionally I mix in some fruit and veg [/color]:D

[color=darkred]There's a dog rescue advert that comes on the tv who NEVER PUT AN HEALTHY DOG DOWN!! Makes me cry everytime I see it thinking about what those dogs had been through and the ones that still are :x There is also one for the RSPCA about a little Jack Russell who gets beaten by his drunken master and a kitten found dumped in a dustbin. Another for the RSPCA...a kitten gets thrown against the wall and dies :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: makes me so pissing mad [/color]:evil: :evil:

[color=darkred]I have read that many times...so sad. It goes to show how immature people can be around animals and its not the humans who suffer. I know that circumstances do change but to put a healthy dog down because of it is wrong [/color] :( :( :( :(

[color=darkred]Charlie is allergic to pollen. Last year I kept him off the lawn at the top of our garden, because of this condition but this year I let the dogs back up so they could play....not that there is much lawn left....it was already patchy in places but there is hardly any grass now, only where Charlie had been lying. Over the last few days I noticed dark pink and black skin underneath him that started to look scabby, sore and a bit pussy....so I got the jar of vaseline that I have been using to put on his dry nose and rubbed some in, well this morning I was amazed to find that its looking so much better...it seems to be drying up well and the puss as cleared.... Not sure if it was puss but it was yukky think stuff like glue. I am going to keep an eye on it and keep him from lying on the grass that will eventually be turned into pebbles, but I am so pleased that the Vaseline as done wonders [/color] :D

[color=darkred]OMG Poor little mite.....Im not suprised he growled and whined, wouldn't anybody being locked in a cage 24 hours a day! That is so cruel (Pet Shops should be banned from selling pets) this is one of the reasons why so many dogs become aggressive, the way they are treated from the start! For any animal, being kept in a cage is no life for a puppy as well has an adult dog. I pitty this puppy and others when and if they find homes...what life they will be leading. These back yard breeders should be shot :evil: No knowledgable breeder in there right mind would allow there puppies to be sold from Pet Shops....its bloody discusting[/color] :x
