1. I found my baby, oh my goodness I was so in love....The puppies are adorable..There were six of them, 3 boys, 3 girls. They are husky mix. The mom was a husky. They are pretty sure the dad was a yellow lab. They are only 4 1/2 weeks old. So I have to wait until March 1st to go back and get him. I guess it gives me time to pick out a name... I'm so happy. The kids loved him to, my daughter didn't want to put him down to leave. I was wondering if anyone has or has had this mix...If so could you tell me a little bit about this combo.
2. That is a great cross, my husband had one before we met. I think the dog is like 14 or 15 years old now. Yes he is still living. He is very smart and very sweet. I don't think they ever had any problems with him. Even around babies he is very gentle. He is also very protective. He barks when someone he doesn't know gets near the house, but after he sees you a few times and knows your not gonna hurt anybody he is sweet as can be. He barked at me the first 4 or 5 times he saw me, but now he just sits there and waits for me to pet him. I think you have a great dog!
3. just called about some husky mix pups....everybody keep your fingers crossed I really wanted a husky or husky mix. They are only 4 and 1/2 weeks old, so I wouldn't get it for a few weeks but I called anyway...I hope they call back
4. I thought this was a good article....escpecially for someone who is getting a dog for the first time! http://dogs.about.com/cs/newtodogs/a/free_puppy.htm

6. My husband wants a large dog. and the lab was gone when I called... I have plenty of time to devote to a dog...I am a stay at home mom. So I will be able to spend lots of time training, playing, and loving my new dog. Before I got married we had dogs that were not very trained. It made life complicated. So after we got married and had our first dog, I made sure to train her. She was part boxer, very hyper, very nuts, she would knock me over, so I was afraid for her to play with our 2year old. but after a few weeks I could hollar sit when she was in a dead run for our little girl and the butt hit the ground. She was a smart dog. I hope the next one is as easily trainable!!! but like I said I do stay at home, so I might end up with the best behaved dog in the neighborhood!
7. your welcome....my dog never would have sat still that long, in almost ever pic I had of her she was moving and I was all twisted up!
8. that is one very photogenic dog.....great pics!
9. this doesn't really apply to this dog, but I just thought of a great name for a dog saved from a shelter...Justice. I guess it would work best for a female, but I thought it was cute.
10. When we tried to teach our dog to fetch she just ran in circles, my daughter would do the fetching...Well atleast my daughter learned to fetch.
11. yeah giving a dog a human name is funny for the same amount of time that a fat guy named tiny is funny

16. What breeds or mixes would you guys suggest for a family with two kids, ages 6 and 1 1/2? and what breeds would you say were not good with children...I already know how bouncy boxers are, will knock little kids over! I was thinking lab...or retriver...any suggestions?
