I found my way here when members of an un-named board were bashing an un-named member of both Dogo and the un-named board. Did any of that make sense? Anyway, I like it here. It's not so stuffy.
Its kinda funny if you think about it. Dog people against cat people? Not that I hope it gets to that, but still kinda ironic.
As I said on page 3, I am a member of that forum because I have 6 cats and they give good advise. Does that mean I'm not welcome here anymore? I never bash forums that I belong to on other forums. It's disrespectful and uncalled for.

I have been a member of TCS for quite a while and unfortunately I missed her posts over there. It is a great message board with some very nice people. I have 6 cats so Dogomania wouldn't be much help for me.
We get bored easily and waiting for Debbie take SO long
 Thanks for the warning. I need to spend less time working and more time here with you clowns.

Oh...okay. I feel so un-normal now.

I noticed that you are a JRT lover and owner. Am I correct? Some time in the future my husband and I want to adopt one. We have met a few and we do realize that they are a huge dog in a little package but I could use a little more info on them. I have 4 high energy dogs that love little dogs so I don't think a JRT would be a problem with them. What do you think? Thank you in advance.
My mums name is Sheila!
 Don't get me wrong, I like the name, just not for a dog.

It's not that difficult to assign a totally different name to a dog. When we adopted Niki her name was Shiela, yuck. She new her new name withing a week.

Bozy does it gently but Buddy on the other hand just smacks me and it hurts. He gets no petting until he's gentle about it.

How in the hell do you keep them from running, or for just being dogs for that matter? MY BC buddy was neutered the night before I picked him up and he was in full motion the very next day. He had no problems or issues that insued. I will say that spaying is a different issue but Cody, spayed, was up and going in a day. Did I do something wrong or am I just lucky that the dogs didn't hurt them selves.

Thoughts about breeding -oodle and -poo mixes
leahluvsherpups replied to Crested's topic in Everything about dogs
I too am against intentional breeding of mixed breeds. It's just another way to make money, and alot of it, off of stupid people. -
You think the flaming is bad here, why don't you go to the petfinder message boards and ask your question there. :diablotin: Now, go and get your dog fixed and leave the breeding to professionals.

10 Puppies.. all dead... at the same time, PLEASE HELP!
leahluvsherpups replied to a topic in Veterinary information
I agree, get her spayed. -
My first mistake was marrying my 1st husband. I was too young and stupid. My second and worst mistake, I did not secure my gate and Brandy, my beautiful German Sheperd, got out and was immediately struck and killed by a car. I did not aquire any pets again until I moved out of the city.

I have been part of many topics regarding dogs and cats eating grass. The upset stomach, throw up thing is a myth. Dogs, as do humans, need ruffage. My dogs adore grass and have always eaten it. They have never gotten ill as a result. Heck, even pet stores sell grass for cats and dogs. Here they are grazing on fresh cut from a week ago. Just my opinion based on experience. When Cody was a puppy she had no interest at all in us humans. She just wanted to be with the other dogs. She was a major nipper and chewer which she finally got over. She now does show a little bit of bonding and love but no where near the bonding I have with the other three. I love her all the same.

I have six cats. Five of them were under a year old when I got them and have found that they acclimate easier than an adult. Especially when you have dogs. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me as well..
