2. Oh, they both sound wonderful! I wish I could take them home myself but I'm in the U.S. Is it okay if I post this at some of my other forums?
3. Horay for Mouse! (that's two...)
4.
Would you be able to get your dad to read a book. I've been reading a really good book, it's titled "So your dog's not Lassie" The book is about strong-willed hard headed four-legged people and how to train them.
I have read that book several times and it is wonderful! The authors add little bits of humor and it makes for a great read! :D :D
5.
I totally agree. 3 weeks isn't long enough. But we all have to realize the truth. Thousands upon thousands (to be exact around 2 thousand) of dogs die in abuse cases every day. Not just one or two, but hundreds. We did a report for school about abuse, and we got to choose what kind of abuses, and I chose animals (I'm homeschooled). After I studied hard, I was amazed at how many cruelty deaths there were in the animal kingdom. Not just for dogs, either. Twice as many cats die each year as well. It is very sad, and I am totally against it, but I have to keep reminding myself that there are alot more out there, their last breaths being spent in a living h***. That's why in 2 years, I going to volenteer at our Humane Society, so that I can help out with my animal friends. It is a tear jerker, but abuse cases are more frequant then you might think.
I agree. Just today at school we were having a discussion about selfless people. Selfless people are people who dedicate their lives to promoting peace and making the world a better place, instead of trying to make their own lives better. When I grow up and have a job I want to be able to help these animals. I've already signed dozens of petitions to get stronger punishment on animal abusers. The world does not relise how horrible animal abuse is. I want to show the world what really goes on. I want to show people what animals suffer through every day as we go about our usual business. People need to know that animals have feelings and can feel the pain of what is happening. I've decided to dedicate my life to stopping abuse because I feel that is what my true purpose in life is. I will not stop because animal abuse will never stop!!!! :( I will be anle to start volunteering at my local SPCA very soon, and when I do, I will be posting a pet of the week every week at school. I will be letting people know the real cruelity that goes on, and what they can do to stop it. No matter how young or old U are U can help these animals! Sorry for rambling, but this is a touchy subject with me, and I can't sit by and do nothing.
6. i saw a petition on the site to help stop the puppy mill. If U sign U are helping. I signed...
7. Everyone has suggested very good solutions and I hope some of them will help your poor pup. :( A couple months ago my malamute mix had an awful rash on her belly, and I gave her an oatmeal bath. It did help. Of course, all dogs are different, but U might just want to try it out and see how it goes. I send lots of hugs and kisses to your poor itchy pup! :( Keep us updated and GOODLUCK!
8. Some people are just pure evil and stupidity!       I hope all people who do this kind of things to animals, and feel no remorse, go straight to H***!!!!! They deserve what they've got coming!
9. Well, my malamute mix has a little sheltie in her... she's mostly malamute though. They are great dogs! :P
10. I have a malamute mix. Her name is Cracker and she is 5 yrs. old, she'll be 6 in Aug. They're a wonderful breed. Post some pics of your team. Your huskie sounds beautiful! :D
11. Sounds like your dog is bored. Try taking her on a long walk before you leave her. Also, toys that keep dogs busy are good. Like the kong and buster cube. These can be found at any local pet stores. U might want to try hiding treats for her to find while your gone. Get her out for some walks and have some fun with her! Tire her out before you leave. There are also doggie daycare centers in most towns, she could go there once a week. This gives her a chance to socialise with other dogs and people. Remember, be creative and have fun! :D
12. Abby knows the basics Sit Stay Come Stand Drop It Leave It She also knows how to smile, or show her teeth on command. She knows circle or spin, where she goes in a circle. She also knows beg, and paw. I'm working with her on hold it. Eventually I want to be able to give Abby a tin can and for her to go put it in the recycle box. She's only in the first stages of learning it though. I'm also working on bow, and speak. :D
13. I will send my entry tommorow as today is cold and rainy outside. I want to get a pic of Abby in the sunlight. :D

Neat Article

Interseting. :) Scientist have also just recently proven that dogs pick up on human cues faster than apes, monkeys, gorrilas, and other very intelligant(sp?) animals. An example, when I get out the leash, my dogs know we are going outside. Also, it has just been proven that dogs have basic math skills, including the ability to count! :o
18. Beautiful pics!!!!!!! :D :D :D I luved the Dalmation and the Aussie, such beauties!

21. It's so good to hear that Rowie's OK! :D I'm so happy for U!!! :sweetCyberM: Now if you can just post some pics of Rowie...
22. It is not good to buy a mixed breed puppy. Breeders are consantly striving to get nearer they're breed standard and people that produce these mixed breed dogs can cause a lot of problems for breeders. PLEASE do not buy puppies from a person who does this. Other people here can give you more info on why it is wrong.
23. I liked that they had the APBT :D
24. I'm so sorry for your loss  ... but it sounds like he was very loved and U gave him a good life.
25. I have two mixes that are the sweetest dogs in the world! :D One is a border collie mix named Abby, the other is a malamute mix named Cracker. My first dog was a JRT mix(I think they're called the Parson Russell now) and she was a sweetie! It's nice to meet U! :D
