i too soak mine in water (for the same reasons!!) but before i start soaking the food i get a particular saucepan out that i only use for cooking their meat in (yes they always have some kind of meat mixed in with their normal dry food). As soon as all four see the saucepan they stick to me like glue!!! when they see me take the saucepan off and start to cool the meat they can hardly wait any longer, but try desparatley to contain themselves, but once it`s sorted out, the dry stuff `s starting to soak they start doing little dances around my feet, especially Shaddow my lurcher cross, and Laylah (rottie) lies on the floor trying to be really good but starts singing!!! Barney (JRT)and Joe (yorkie terrier) just start running in tiny circles and talking excitedly,......it`s sooooooo funny to see them all, but difficult to get it to them without tripping over one of them :lol:

i agree too. dogs have changed my life for the better, our whole daily routine revolves round our 4 dogs, and that`s just how we like it. I can remember saying when i was about 14 that when i left home my dream would be to own loads of land and a big house so i could rescue as many dogs as i could. unfortunatley the dream about loads of land and a big house didn`t come true but i have managed to rescue six dogs :wink: i don`t think you can beat sharing your life with dogs....it`s the best :D

thanks, hubby and i have talked about it and have decided to do it :o will be speaking to the vet tomorrow :-?

yep i`m the same, love looking at pics and i too love listening to older folks stories with showing their pics. It would be nice to see pics of the ownes on the board as i like you often wonder what they look like. WE`LL HAVE TO START A NEW TOPIC FOR POSTINGS FOR PICS OF OWNERS.... :lol: :lol:
