1. I agree the previews looked funny, but at the price the Cinema's want for a ticket $$$ !!! :o It cost's us $26 , just to get in to the movie and that doesn't include a popcorn or a drink ! :( So unless it's Oscar nominated material..... I can wait !!
2. Roo, Pressing Paws and Hands that Petal makes a full turn around !!
3. Cournek, What is the commercial for ? What product are they trying to sell (dog chasing dog) in it ?? I haven't seen it and it sounds hilarious !!
4. Our first Jack Russell already had her name before we got her, we thought Sassy would fit a Jacks personality !! So her official name is Sassafrass Louise. I got Louise from me always saying "Geez Louise" when something goes wrong !! :) We named Maisy after we got her , she looked like a little mouse , so we named her after the kids show "Maisy Mouse". Her full name is Maisy Mae , and Mae just sorta went with it. Gretchen Josephine, Her grandma's name was Greta, so it's kind of a spin off that name, and Josephine is my 89yr. old neighbors name ! She likes Gretchen the best so I gave her, her name !! My last dog Nakita was half Akita, hence the name .... not very original I know !!
5. Shara we are Pressing Paws and Hands here for you and Hazel :( Sometimes we all have to make difficult decisions, I certainly don't envy your position. :( My Nakita was an Akita/Rott cross and she was as good as gold with people but she was very dog aggressive. :( I knew her limitations and she always had to be kept on lead when we were outside. She lived to the ripe old age of 15yr. , when I had to finally make the decision to put her to sleep.(Health Problems) I went in with her and held her in my arms while the Vet administered the injection. It was the least I could do for 15yr. of loyal dedication and love, following me around like a shadow for 15yr...... I still miss her to this day. Hazel could have something neurologically wrong... she may be happier waiting for you on the Rainbow Bridge. So Sorry For You
6. I didn't actually see the movie , but I did see the previews. My kids thought it looked funny. I won't pay $$$ to see a so-so movie , I just wait till it comes on a movie channel on T.V. I don't think they used real dingo's, because of course they're wild, so they had to make a substitute. They probably don't think the majority that go to see this movie would know a dingo from a flamingo !! , so therefore used what they thought looked the closest to them.....
7. Jen you are so right.... Mankind has always tried to kill and destroy what it doesn't know or is afraid of. The childrens movie "Beauty and the Beast" is a good example. The Beast did no wrong but the villagers gossip and fear caused them to want to destroy him. :evilbat: Maybe more adults should watch childrens movies.......
8. Starfox, I don't know about where your are, but here we have leash laws. That is my problem too (not having a fence) . It used to happen that people walking by with their little darlings on flexi-leashes would let them come into our yard and do their duty.... :evilbat: . Well I finally had enough and started going out and "politely ask them not to let their dogs go in my yard, as I have kids that play in the yard" It took awhile but they finally stopped , rather than have me in their faces. :agrue: If people are letting their dogs out at night loose, I would videotape the dog and start calling the Dog Control in your area. Also if there is a pooper scooper law, these people could be fined. You must have evidence though...... :o Good Luck !!
9. The windows are open and my dogs bark at everything and anybody that walk past !! :o Not having to wear 2 coats to go outside !! :ylsuper:
10. Shannon , I totally agree with you, as I said in my previous reply , my previous dog got scraps and I made a monster out of her with the begging and she got too fat. :evilbat: My mom had a Boston Terrier and a mixed breed ?? that she used to give coffee and sweets and cakes and all sorts of crap too , in addition to their dogfood, the Vet told her to knock it off and he told her they needed to be on a diet, and for snacks they should get carrot sticks and ricecakes !! The Boston passed 2yr. ago but the mixed breed is still alive and slimmer !! That is why I made the conscience decision this time not to even start the bad habit, with this group of dogs. I can sit on the couch and have a little snack and they don't even bother me. I also seperate all 3 of mine at meal times because the youngest Jack is a glutton and she will finish her food in 7 seconds and then go try and pilfer food from the other two !! Love and Kissies to Charlie and the gang !! :calus:
11. Holz congratulations !! I love seeing those little paws pop up too !!
12. When my brother Ken was a little boy we had a Boston Terrier named Boots, I don't know what exactly started it (probably my brother tormenting the dog  ) but Boots bit my brothers ear, so my brother in turn bit hers !! :agrue: And they were both crying... I can say for sure that neither one bit each other again after that !!
13. As you know I have 3 dogs, 2 Jack Russells and a Rott/Lab mix. Normally I don't usually leave the house , but when I do and come back !! Holy Cats I would be attacked first thing coming in the door, they were so excited to see me ! Jumping , clawing, barking, biting each other trying to be the first at me !! TOTAL CHAOS !! :o So I started ignoring them when I first come through the door, set my things down, take off my coat and shoes, etc.... And when they calmed down then I would acknowledge them and it is oh so much more pleasant !! :) Now when my family comes in from going out , they run right past me and attack my Husband because HE lets them attack him. I've told him to just ignore and they will learn not to do the same to him , but he has told me he likes all the whoo ha , and excited attention he gets from them. So be it.... to each his own !!
14. Thanks Crested, It was raining all day yesterday and now today it's snowing, feeling a little down in the dumps and your pictures brought a big smile to my face !! :D
15. Snowpaws, legs sliding out behind them   That happens to mine too !! When they are all chasing each other , I have to remind Gretchen(Rott/Lab) to be careful because she slides and skids all over !! I'm afraid she'll break a leg or a hip !! :o
16. Sassy, Maisy, and Gretchen never get fed from the table or my plate. I did that with a previous dog and she was the worst begger..... :-? So I just decided with these girls I wouldn't start them with bad behaviour. They do get vegetables, some meat, fruits and yogurt at times with their dry food. But when I'm eating they don't try and beg off me, because they know better.
17. I agree with Mouse, I would hate to be a burden on anyone, :( and I would hate to end up in an old age facility. K and Malamum, I LOVE Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicals, I think it would be cool to be a Vampire ! I have loved them since I was a teen !
18. Courtnek, Here's Pressing Paws that you and Freebee find your soul mate, it looks like you have some really good choices !!
19. Jen, She is absolutely Gorgeous ! How old is she ? I like your mat as well !! Mouse could you make me an Avatar ??
20. Prairie_Gurl, You don't have any Pet stores where you are ? I get my Nutro Natural Choice from a farm supply store, you can get it in bigger bags there and it's cheaper. North Dakota ought to have Farm supply stores..... don't they ?? :fadein:
21. There are so many possibilitys at this age... I for one would not mess around , I would have that puppy to a vet for a fecal test ! You don't know what it could be, I would be very scared about Parvo :evilbat: Good Luck, Keep us informed !
22. People are so evil... :evilbat: . She looks like a witch, all she needs is the costume ! I agree with Roo, if you could find someone who'd mate that !! There should be a ban for people like that !! She shouldn't be able to own any kind of animal again !
23. whodoesthat, Nahhhh.... you're not crazy !! I think he's absolutely adorable  I have 4 babies all under 2yr. of age and I love every minute of it !!
24. Encyclopedia, Thanks for the link !! The Moscow Terriers look somewhat like a long haired Manchester Terrier !! :o  I love the ears !
25. Mary's Mama, Awww.... I'm so glad Stewie will finally be coming home !! :D You guys have fun at PuppyFest , and have a drink for me !! :drinking: Maybe next year I'll be there , barring no family emergencies !! My daughter will be arriving home Sat. at 4PM. I can't wait for the drama she'll be bringing back to the house !! Anyway give everyone a big hello and a hug from Sassy, Maisy, and Me !! :(
