1. Excellent letter. I think you should send it off.
2. My dog doesn't really like his either. Once we are walking he tends to forget about it, however if we sit in the one spot for a long time he rubs his head on the ground and tries to get it off. In regards to him running to the end of the leash and jerking back - don't give him so much leash. When I am walking Indy I wrap the leash around my hand so it's very short - only about 2ft of free leash. That way it's easier to keep control of him and also there is no chance of him hurting his neck by running to the end of leash and then snaping his head back. Now he is quite used to walking very close to me so I can have the leash really loose and he still walks next to me as if it was short.
3.   That made me laugh out loud
4. That is just too cute.
5. I must admit that I don't put ANYTHING in the dryer that is not made of T-shirt type material or towels. Even if the label says it's ok. I shrunk a pair of jeans in the dryer (even on low) - they now belong to my shorter, skinnier friend :-?
6. TDG, thanks for that info, it was excellent. I have printed it out to be able to refer to it easily. While Indy doesn't get absolutley everthing you have listed he does get at least one or two things from each category. So in all I feel he is getting a pretty balanced diet. There were a few things you listed that caught my eye so I may start adding them.
7.  I'm sorry I can't help but laugh either. I second Courtnek - I think getting the coat dry cleaned is the best idea. Though if it were me I would probably be a little emabarassed taking a coat in that smelt like dog wee and would probably wash it myself
8. [insert a pouting emoticon] I thought we were going to get to see cute spotty puppy pics :(
9. I really think it has to do with dominance. Indy will lift his leg when he is marking a spot (as opposed to peeing because he needs to) but when he is going in our back yard all four feet tend to stay on the ground.
10. He really does look a lot better in last pic. How is he going with the other dogs?
11. oohh oohh when? and how come so secretive? details please
12. HF, that's adorable. They just want to be close to you. Indy pretty much leaves me alone when I'm doing the house work except when I am cleaning the bath. He has an obsession with watching the water go down the drain and has to come and get right in close to me when I'm trying to clean it.
13. If when you are refering to Bootscootin Baby, you mean the song 5,6,7,8 by Steps, then I like that one. It's very catchy and is a fun song with lots of energy.
14. That is fantastic news. I know exactly how you feel as I have the same problems with Indy. However I think he is also slowly getting better.
15. Good job HF. Peyton, wishing you all the best in your new home.
16. Great news!
17. hmmmm.... it seems that way to many people are being born without the common sense gene these days. :-?
18. :o :o :o BEARS????? Are there really people THAT stupid out there??
19. Voted. They are all so cute but Rascal is just so adorable. He is still out in the lead.
20. Congratulations, a new puppy is just soooooo exciting. Seriously take as many puppy pics as you can, they grow up so quickly and I now wish I had more puppy pics of Indy.
21.
13) I would not buy weird things to stuff into "kongs", or have to explain > why I'm buying them, or what a "kong" is;
I've had to explain what a kong is quite a few times
22. IDIOT!!!
23. HF, I have been reading along and learing from the advice that you have been given but don't really have anthing of value to add. In my opnion you seem to be doing everything right. Hope everything works out ok.
24. Oh poor baby. I'm sorry I don't really know anything about stuff like that either. I do think you are doing the right thing with the bandage and the cream till you can get him to the vet.
25. Karen, Firstly welcome to the board and secondly you have been given some great advice so there is not much more for me to add. I agree that doggy boot camp needs to be started  Once you have her back in her place at the bottom of the ladder (yes ALL humans come first and dogs are last) you can still spoil her but in doggy ways not human ways. I also agree about the sleeping on the bed, by allowing her to do that she will see you as her equal. I agree with a crate by your bed. That way you can sleep with your hand on the top of the crate to comfort her to start with. Once she understands that sleeping on the bed is a privilege not a right and will only do so at your invitation and will immediately get down on command then you can probably have her sleep with you again but I wouldn't rush into it though. Good luck.
