HELP!!! Drivers licence vs. my puppy! I can't choose!!!!
Crested replied to Crested's topic in Everything about dogs
Everybody I've asked have thought like you guys... I must admit that a drivers licence would be a good idea, but... I can't stop thinking of the pup... Oh and Ben has got better. We went last summer on a 700km trip and he threw up twice. Then when we came back (again 700km) he threw up again twice. On small trips he doesn't throw up either. /Crest -

behle: ...with a car sick dog... :o But mabye I can teach Ben to act nice in the car. :D That hasn't worked yet. I have a security belt for him and a box for him but nothing seems to be good enough for him... :o He screams on the back seat no matter what... He has stopped vomiting, but the first few rides were impossible. The first "long" drive was about 100km (one way) and we went there and back (2 x 100km) and he vomited FOUR times!! That wasn't such a nice ride... :( /Crest -
HELP!!! Drivers licence vs. my puppy! I can't choose!!!!
Crested replied to Crested's topic in Everything about dogs
Thanks... I just don't know what to do... I have been dreaming of a drivers licence for a long time, but... hmm... the puppy... Well I have decided to cal to the driver school tomorrow and talk about the courses and the money and that sort of stuff... I guess I have to go ahead with the drivers licence... I don't see that I actually have much of a choise... I just wish that I some way could allso get the pup... /Crest -
My parent's think the pup isn't as important as the drivers licence... Now I have been offerd a loan if I take the licence instead wich would be EXTREMELY good (an uncle of mine said he'd loan the money to me with just 100 euro's intrest of the entire price, wich is WAY less then any bank would offer). I want my pup and I want my drivers license but I can't take both because I can't afford both the licence and the pup. There are so many plus sides with the drivers licence, but... My puppy!! A tiny life!! Offcourse I can't be 100% sure if a baby girl will even be born... I'm clueless here! Help! What should I do????? What would you do if you were me? Wich one do you think is more important? /Crest

WOW! :o ...I'm speechless... :o Thoose are really big idiots. The "If you don't get psychiatric help at Charter. Please get help somewhere!" is just really low!! I have an idea that might proove that the picture is yours. Do you have the negative of the picutre and the original picture? If so, you have an even better chanse of a lawsuit. Make them wish they had never even seen that picture! :evilbat: Think if somebody has stolen Ben's picture!! :o Got to go and check on google just to be on the safe side! Keep us posted on what's going on, ok? /Crest

Thanks... I still can't stop thinking of that baby crow... But if a cat has hurt him or something, there's nothing I can do... right? Dad called my uncle a few moments ago and said "...she went on a walk with one dog and came back with two." I guess you can put it that way too. /Crest

I went on a long walk with Ben and saw many strange things. First a little baby crow that was hurt (probabely by a cat or then he just fell from his nest). I heard his mommy crackling in a tree so I left him alone. Besides, I didn't have anything to carry him with. The only thing I had was a plastic bag, but I didn't want tu sufficate the poor thing. Then when we continued walking, I saw a squirl run across the street and jump in a tree just before a motor cycle drove by. When we finally were heading back after beeing a while with my uncle's house, we met this old lady that wonderd what a strange thing Ben was. When we FINALLY got near our home (about a block away) I saw this BEAUTIFULL long haired blue merle Collie boy. He was free with no owner in sight. First I just let him be and I thought he'd go home, but he started following me and poor Ben who was so scared! Luckilly he was an absolutely FABULOUS dog! He was so kind and wonderfull. When he just kept following us, I took him by his collar and called my mom. I told her to take Ben's second leash and come and meet me. She did that and when we got home I checked the boy's collar. Nothing. No number, no address, nothing. I asked one of my neighbourghs if he recognized the dog, but he told me he didn't. Mom came out and we started talking. Both of them thought I'd just go where I found him and let the dog loose. "He will find his way home" they said. I didn't want to do that and I wasn't even going to. What if he would be hit by a car or something?! But I did decide to go to the place where I found him and ask around. So I started walking back to the place where I found the boy after I put Ben home. I asked around and nobody recognized him. One little boy told me that he had seen some old lady walk with the dog. I asked some more but that was the only clue. I went back home and thought I'd call one of our neighbourghs who's a police and ask what to do. No anwser. So I asked dad if he recognized the dog (he was asleep when I first was home) and he told that he knew one person who had collies. It was far fetched, but they lost one dog at new year when the dog got afraid of the fireworks. He called her (an old lady) and found out she WAS missing a dog. After a while she came and picked the dog up and I found out his name was Zorro. She was takeing care of the dog for her daughter who was away and Zorro had been out in a long leash by himself. Somebody must have gone to their yard and let him loose, because there was this lock on the leash that the dog couldn't in a million years open. The leash was lyeing on the ground and the dog had vanished. He had been missing for about three hours. Then they went away and I went in the shower. I had to take my asthma medicin, but it wasn't that bad. I was just tired, sweaty and REALLY thirsty. Now Ben is sleeping, dad's watching TV, mom is... I don't know where she is and I'm writeing this to you and I'm still thinking of the poor crow... :( But anyway... I think it was a good "dog-deed" of the day. :) What do you think? /Crest

Primabella: Sorry, but you've made your homepage with the Geocities page builder, so it means that you don't need any kind of knowledge on html codes or anything... The pages look really good, but I want the award to go to people who have done their pages with html codes, because that is the thing that takes time and effort. I made my pages that way too... I hope you understand. You can see who's won by clicking on the award button on the front page (where the roll over picture says: "Do you want to win Ben's award... click here."). When you roll down on the pop up that appears you see the people who have won. :) /Crest

The two poems from that page... I thought you might want to read them... MAMA KILLED MY BROTHER TODAY "Mama killed my brother today. All he wanted to do was play. He bit her ear he didn't know it was frostbitten from last night's snow." She was eight months old when we were born. In an old wire cage at the puppy farm. In pain and scared, in the dark and alone, Mama gave us our lives and made us a home. She cleaned each one up and chewed through the cords, And she laid on the wire so we'd stay on the boards. She moved us around so we'd all get some milk. I thought Mama's belly felt just like silk. She stayed up nights from the time we arrived. And nosed us and licked us to keep us alive. She grew weak and thin but she made no fuss, And she managed to save all eight of us. But all mamas need some place to go When little puppies start to grow. Their razor teeth and needle nails Turn 3 x 4 cages into jails. An hour of rest and a little sun - If she'd just had some space to run.. Or a place for us to tumble and play For at least a little part of each day. I wish she could have walked in the yard, So her life would not have been so hard. But our Mama, who'd been so sweet and kind, Was slowly starting to lose her mind. Then last night the big snow came down It piled up some places two feet on the ground. The wind blew it on us, with no place to hide. But bless our poor mama, she tried and she tried. She snapped when he bit her - her ear was so sore. Not meaning to hurt him, just tell him "No more!" He was caught in the ribcage and punctured a lung. Brother died on her belly, right where he'd begun. She's nosing him now but he cannot stir. And all we can do is look at her. She started to cry and has howled all day, Still nobody's come to take him away. I was scared to see my brother die, But more scared to hear my Mama cry. And just now the big truck's come rolling in To take some more pups from the pens again. They had them all loaded when he looked in at us. He just shook his head and went back for a box. All he left in our cage was brother and Mama. "They're four weeks old. Go on and load 'em." Our eyes got big but we didn't cry. "Mama, are we going to die?" We're rolling now but we don't know to where. PLEASE GOD, help our Mama - she has to stay there. Day after day.. each one the same, another year older a little more lame My body is sore and hot with infection in the freezing cold or the searing heat with nothing but wire beneath swollen feet my food bowl is empty my water dish dry What did I do?? please tell me, why? the litters come and the litters go where do they take them? I don't know... is this a bad joke? or a horrible game? I have no home not even a name no one to love me no one to care no one to bathe me and brush my hair my teeth are rotting my eyes are encrusted where are the people to whom I'm entrusted? I cry every night... so afraid, don't you see? could this be the life God intended for me? someone, speak for me I am losing my will take me out of this hell.
