Hey guys! :D I was wondering about something and hope you might be able to help :P When Rowie's probably two years old, or maybe even four, we might adopt a new puppers from the pound. I really want to save a homeless dogs life this time :wink: Anyway, I had a few questions, and was wondering if you could help me out :D [size=6][b].[/b][/size] [b]How do I introduce Rowie to the new pup?[/b] Rowie is really energetic, but that's just beacuse she's a puppy, she's only a year old! That's one of the reasons I'm waiting, I want to make sure she's fully trained, and mature, before I get her a brother/sister! [size=6][b].[/size] When is the best time I should get a new puppers?[/b] When Rowie's two, three, or four? :-? And what age of puppy would be the best? I'm scared 2 months might be a tad bit too small. Rowie isn't large, but she may get excited and hurt him/her by mistake. [b].IF I don't get a puppy,[/b] and get a fully grown dog instead, how do I introduce the two? Will Rowie feel like her place in the "pack" is endangered? Should I always pet Rowie first and such just like when getting a new puppy? [b]Rottie's are not, in any way, vicious![/b] :wink: The Media are always looking for stories to write about...mostly, they want bad stories. Stories about murders, "bad" breeds of dogs...Etc. Then they make the story worse than it really is! :evil: :evil: :evil: For instance, a rottie bites a person, the person needs a few stitches, the dog is PTS. The media would say: [b]A vicious Rottwieler attacked a person for no apparant reason, spokes men say. The rottwieler, Teddy, 130 Lb's, escaped from owner (so and so's) house, and attacked passerby(so and so), for no apparant reason. (So and so) was mauled almost to death, luckly, Teddy's owner was passing by looking for his dog and seeing them, pulled Teddy away and put him in the house, and called for an ambulance. (so and so) needed stitches, and is in hospital. Meanwhile, Teddy was put to sleep humanly, as his owner could not trust him again. This is why big, blck, dangerous breeds should be banned.[/b] :evil: [color=red][b]REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A REAL STORY, I MADE IT UP SO THAT YOU CAN SEE HOW THE MEDIA MAKES LITTLE STORIES INTO FRONT PAGE STORIES!![/b][/color] See how cruel the media is? They make little stories into HUGE front page cover stories! :evil: And THAT is why breeds like the pit bull, dobermann, German Shepard, and the rottwieler are known as dangerous breeds or vicuos breeds or whatever! :x :evil: It really pi$$es me off! :evil:

Don't feed you're pup [b]IAMS[/b], [b]PURINA[/b], or [b]EUKANUBA[/b]! :o We are currently boycotting them. They test on dogs, and cats! An exapmle: The fed some Dane puppies on IAMS, then when they where I think 6 months, cut them open(STILL alive :o ) and checked thier bones to see how IAMS helped thier bone growth or some other cr@p like that! :o If we buy from them it will give them more money to test on our four legged babies! :cry: Try not to feed it to them k? I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but it's the disgusting truth! :o Welcome BTW! :lol:

Good For Him!! :D :D :D What has this world come to? When a person does something good, like saving his loved one from a fire, he is almost sent to jail! But when a puppy millers continue to abuse puppies and dogs, there is nothing done about it! :evil: AND, when they do catch people absuing thier animals, they have less than 13 months in jail! :evil: THANK GOODNESS the charges where dropped! :D If Rowie had been in this man's dog's position, I would've done the same!
