Oh oh! I LOVE Red Bone Coon Hounds! :D ('specially the ears :wink: ), not that it would really help, but a nice book would be "Where The Red Fern Grows" By Wilson Rawls. It's about a boy named Billy and his two Coon Doggies(Red Bones), I cried at the end! :D It's really nice :D I LOVE it! :D Hehe...not that it would help, but it's a good read anyway! :D

Why did your friend get these dogs if her son was highly allergic? :-? Just asking.. Contact GSD Rescue, and the breeder, AND maybe some friends of yours that you know are responsible GSD owners? :D Try your best, make sure you find these pups a good home! :D :wink:

Awww....what a sweetums! :D Rowie is SUCH a bird dog! And I mean it! When she sees a bird she goes CRAZY! And I mean it! She goes so crazy that it's cute! Her ears prick up, her tail goes up, and she chases it till the cows come home! Haha! Sadly, the bird flies away..so she doesn't have much of a chase! :lol: But still it's in her blood, you know, she's a retriever and all :lol: Boy do I love that pooch! :loveu:
