  1. Sent from the Internet (Details) A friend sent this one to me today & I am quite sure my dogs have had these thoughts. I lie belly-up In the sunshine, happier than You will ever be. Today I sniffed Many dog behinds -- I celebrate By kissing your face. I sound the alarm! Paper boy -- come to kill us all Look! Look! Look! Look! Look! I sound the alarm! Garbage man -- come to kill us all Look! Look! Look! Look! Look! How do I love thee? The ways are as numberless as My hairs on the rug. My human is home! I am so ecstatic I have Made a puddle. I Hate my choke chain Look, world, they strangle me! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Sleeping here, my chin On your foot -- no greater bliss -- well, Maybe catching rats Look in my eyes and Deny it. No human could Love you as much as I do. The cat is not all Bad --she fills the litter box With tootsie rolls. Dig under the fence--why? Because it is there. Because it's There. Because it's there. I am your best friend, Now, always, and especially When you are eating. sounds about right Ickle

  8. Sent from the Internet (Details) When a dog is a puppy There's little to do But dig up your garden Or chew on your shoe. And just when the house Is tidy and clean, They leave little paw marks To show where they've been. Love tearing up tissues And biting the chairs, Leaving your underclothes Trailing downstairs. They soon let you know When highly delighted, And make little puddles When over-excited. By Jill Wheeler Ickle
  9. Sent from the Internet (Details) LAMENT OF A STUD My job is making puppies and I get two tries at that. They pat me and tell me "Good Boy" and that's the end of that. It's half my job to give 'em teeth and topline, fronts and other. Remember, it's only half my job- they also have a mother. It's not my job to carry pups and make 'em grow or nurse 'em And feed and clean and make 'em strong. That's for "mother" and a person. It's not my job to wean 'em and fed calcium and food. And stack and gait and housebreak and make 'em show or brood. It's not my job to plan the breeding and learn what produces well, To study pedigrees, learn what's there, and pick out what to sell. It's not my job to guarantee champs, the breeder picks the pair, To make and whelp and feed and show and hope that champ is there. It's not my job to be on hand when points are given out. The breeder, owners, dam and friends take credit with a shout. It's not my job to deliver a winner, it's only genes I sell, But let those puppies turn out bad, and guess who catches HELL. 12. THE CAST OFF What is the worth of a dog you say. Take it in and house it for a shortened stay. Love and cherish and feed it well, Then toss it away to the depths of hell. Let it wander and roam the city streets, Finding food where it will in the rain and sleet, Sleeping under the steps in an alley bare, Cold and forlorn, not a soul to care. Long tangled coat that was once so neat, Matted with burrs and grime from the street. Once fluffy white ruff and bib of snow, Now wet and begrimed from the gutters flow. Paws that are raw from the splintered ice, Eyes that once danced with an impish delight Are now clouded and dull with an air of despair, A faithful heart aches for someone to care. But never once in his destitute flight, Doe's he blame we humans for his desperate plight. In his heart of hearts he still hopes to find A master to love him and he'll pay in kind. No grudges he holds, nor scorn will he heap On the ones who tossed him onto the street. All he asks is a hearth by a fire bright, To keep at bay the chills of a cold winter's night. As he nestles his chin on mud spattered feet, And dreams of green pastures and frolicking sheep, His heart slowly stops beating, earthly cares are all done, The trip to dog heaven has already begun. French Bulldog HELP!

Think you may find the coat texture changes Roo it does in most breeds. The sex is a personal choice and only you the prospective owner can decide what you want there. The dog is an easier choice when it comes to the operation. Ickle

  23. Sent from the Internet (Details) I Like this one Single Black Female seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I > am a very good-looking girl who loves to play. > I love long walks in the woods, riding in your ute, pig shooting, > camping, and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. > Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. > Rub me the right way and watch me respond. > I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only > what nature gave me. > Kiss me and I'm yours. > Call xxx-xxxx and ask for Daisy. > Over 5,000 men found themselves talking to the RSPCA about an eight > week-old black Labrador Retriever puppy. 24. Not Rainbow Bridge but a little verse that I thought said it all when we have just lost a treasured sheltie. Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives. Yet, if they find warmth therein, who would begrudge them those years that they have so guarded? And whatever they take, be sure they have deserved. sent to me by a dear friend who has suffered a great loss of a 16 year old lhought it applied to all of us who have lost a beloved dog. Ickle
  25. My frenchie comes and stands by my chair and just stares at me and if I move so that I do not make eye contact he moves round till he is in the right position again, He waits patiently (though he sometimes shuffles his feet) until he is invited up and then I am stuck there till he decides enough is enough. Could be minutes or hours. Ickle
