1. Good luck, keep us informed. :D :D I can feel your exictment from here. :) :)
2. Good luck with the puppies, I only have one pup and she's hard work,so I can just imagine what it's like with two. :) .Also are you keeping both pups. 8)
3. I always use a lead, but depending were we are I use a close lead for near the road side ,then an extendind lead in the feilds or parks.I think this is the safe way, I ALWAYS HAVE FULL CONTROL of my dog this way and no one can get hurt. :)
4. just show's that parents aint always as wise as they think they are. I get mad when people judge by ear say. it's not the breed of dog it's the way the way humans bring them up.  I have had a rottie for years and he was as soft as a brush. But we always warned people when they came to the house because as with all breeds you never can be to careful. But I would replace him with the same breed now he has gone  has it's not the breed it's how they are treated.I have a son and i try to listen to every thing he has to say before i make my desicion :) But then it would'nt pay for us all to think the same.if it was a choice between a dvd player for my car and a dog I'm afraid the dog would win every time. :D
5. I had a dog that did what your's is doing so i took her to the vets. he took a look at the dog and could'nt find anything wrong with her.so he surggested that she could be lacking in viitamins, and so i changed her diet and made sure it had all the vitamins in she would need, plus the vet gave me some tablets for her with added vitamins in.With in a week she had stopped eating her own poo. when we went back t see the vet for a check up he said she could possibly be a dog that bruns them upto quickly and may need extra vitamins for the rest of her life. This didnt matter to me as long as she ate her food and not her poo  Anyway i just thought i would share this with you so you might wont to give it a go.Good luck hope this has been helpful. :)
6. I no you are worried about the amount of skin But really its nothing to worry about. My rottie had a really think neck and most of it was skin.even thou he was a well fed dog it made no difference to the amount of skin he had round is neck. So try not to worry most dogs have it unless they are really a tight skin breed. 8)
7. I've always give my dogs bones and never had any troubleIt dont sound like to many to me,if your dogs like em then give them there bones.Just keep your eye on them and always make sure the bone's you give is the right sort. :)
8. We all know this is a terible thing,When a dog bite's or attacks in this way. I feel sorry for the kids as they dont really know any better. But the adults should. We have training schools to teach our dog's how to behave.Well I think it's time we also had some sort of training for adults,so that they teach there kids not to even go near a dog with out some one being with them. Also some owners who train there dog to be nasty dont desevre to have them because it's always the dog that has to pay the price with it's live,we dont punish human's with there live when they take a live.I'm not saying the dog should live but i am saying it's not always the dogs fault.Iwas attacked by a dog 30yrs ago and i am still paying the price for that,But I can tell you know it wasnt the dog's fault. It was all down to a human mistake, not mine I must add. :o .SO I do know frist hand that the dog is not always to blame. Lets hope the kids are ok.
9. Well we decided to have a new kitchen floor,we have always had carpet down, but not this time we decided to have a change  But we forgot one thing, the dogs . we had the wooden floor put down looks great i must say,but the problem is the dogs will not walk on it at all.we have tried everything.but still they will not go on it.  now you may think this is a good thing because they cant make it dirty  but every time they wont to go out we have to carry them over the kitchen floor, every time they wont to come in we have to carry them in.  the little dogs not so bad but the rottie is fun i can tell you  :fadein:
10. This is also news to me, if its true.its getting a bit out of hand if you ask me.we {people} bring our dogs up the way we wont them to act its those {people}out there that are so stupid that is causing all these problems not the breed of dog.But like you say were will it all end, i dont know the answer to that. but i wished i did.
11. Well when i have been out and come back home i greet my dogs with lots of fuss and even take them a little something back with me,they greet me with the same love and fuss i give them.my dogs would be so hurt if i left them for 5 mins befor i greeted them.its the frist thing i do when i get home they greet me and i greet them wouldnt have it any other way.must admit its a mad 5/10mins but worth it.you wouldnt leave a child 5mins when you got back to greet it would you.    I look forward to going home knowing my dogs are waiting to welcome me.
12. I am mum to my dogs and i must admit i am nan to my son's dog, so i must be as mad as you  i love my dogs and they are part of the family, they have the same rights in my home as everyone else  some freinds and family dont agree with me but i tell them sorry but if you dont like it lump it :) and my son is as bad as i am because he tells is dogs that there nanny is comeing to see them
13. Our rottie is scared of paper, tea towels, the bin lid, thunder and lighting, in fact there's not a lot he's not scared of. yet not people. Childern well he hate's them. If my freind calls round with her 2 boys we have to put him out and make sure he cant see them. This is all due to the fact that he was beaten etc before we had him.he was 2years old when we rescured him and in that 2 years he had every thing you can think of done to him.It has taken a long time but he's as soft as a brush now.with adults and the most loveing dog with the family. I must admit it can be funny at time's when you see him cower down when you go to dry the dishes because he;s a big dog and to look at him you would'nt think he could be afraid of anything. We are still after 4 years trying to break him of all this fear. But i will never give up on him as he's so faithful to me,and i love him so very much. :P
14. that sounds great news, i'm so pleased for you, hope everything all gose well with the new pup. :P :P keep us informed on our the pup gose
15. I RESUCED a rottie 4 years ago, he had been beaten very badly and was staved etc. now with a lot of hard work he is very gentle and well behaved. he didnt even know how to eat out of a dish or play etc now he dose all those sort of things.but we still have trouble introduceing him to strangers. so we still do that with great care. he now live's in the house and dosent like to be out unless we are with him. when he is played with you always have to let him know who's boss, but anyway my point is he is the most loving faithful dog now so it was all worth it.but i still think if your thinking of rescure one you have to be sure it's the right thing to do.you always have to let them know when enough is enough.so good luck to anyone who rescues, and i hope there are people out there that do and have the same results as i have had.because i wouldnt part with him for the world. :) :D
16. A freind of mine's dog got out the other night and hen they found her she was having fun with a male  . she is only 8mths old and in her first season, what are the chance's of her being in pup. any one know?????if so please help us out by giving me some advice.
17. i used to have 7 dogs and they were all in the house i dont belive in leaving dogs out side, they have to be part of the famiy, not shut up in a kennal out side.

19. this dog now is in pup at just 8mths old, still a pup it's self. any way there's not much can be done about it now so i have asked my freind to keep an eye on the dog for me.i get one sniff of real cruelty and i'm over there
20. thank you all again, and i also dont think replace is the right word.but the little pup is quite an hand full at the moment and keeping my brother busy   ,we are trying to get dad to have a rescure dog at the moment he loves all dogs and would be able to give it a very good home and in return dad would have a very faithful freind.so i will let you know how that gose to.we are not pushing dad but he keeps on about it so with our help who knows.at dad's age a rescure dog would be much easier for him to look after and also the dog would have the best of evrything.
21. well at least thats another one safe, hope it gets better soon.keep us posted. :fadein:
22. .[b I FOR ONE CANT wait to hear what happen's.I have never heard of such a thing :o :-? . so what paper was this in then, cause i havent seen it.mind you i do only read the paper dad buy's now so that could explain it  .anyway i will keep a look out but if you find out please lets us know
23. well i just heard yesterday about a dogs home that just lets you go and pick a dog then you can take it home with you there and then. now thats ok but i know of one dog thats just been brought from a dogs home and its been out side in the cold, been let of to wonder the streets. so how much better of is this poor dog.i know for a fact these people have had at least 4 dogs from there, and have got rid of every one yet they keep going to the same home and getting away with it. now i thought dogs homes check you out frist but no not this one as long as you pay for the dog you can have it.do you think this sounds like the way to run a dogs home because i dont.and if this dog gets hurt in any way i am going there myself to tell then. have any of you heard of a dogs home run this way, because this is the first one i know of.i know the story is true because they told me were the dogs come from, and i also know the poor dogs dont stand much of a chance.it should never be. people should always be check when they are rescure in a dog,so the dog has a chance to have a good life not put back into an horrible life.oh i'm sorry i am going on a bit but it dose annouy me so much.
24. Hi all, you remember me telling you how my mum passed away then my brothers pup died.well it was so nice to get your replys,i thought i'd give you an up date on it. well as my brother was so sadened by our mothers death and in no frame of mind to do anything about the pup he lost, the vets did it for him.we know another pup dose'nt replace the one you lost but my brother did have the money back for the frist one and all vet bills paid, and i'm now glad to say they have a new pup and he seems quite happy about it.but he will never buy that kind of toy again and watches every thing the pup eats ,he makes sure it safe where ever the pup gose.sadly my mother will never know the out come but my brother has taken the new pup to see her at the grave side.so hopefully she knows. well thank you again for your kind thoughts,
