I also agree with you. It hasn't changed the way I view the world though lol I still think that animals are many times more beautiful than humans, but then I went to the dogswalk yesterday and cried. Sounds corny but I saw someone with a 3 legged dog and it made me cry because more people like that pet owner are needed in this world. I saw 2 doggies in doggy wheelchairs and it broke my heart, but I saw their owners gushing over their dogs and I thought it was beautiful. Having Elle has introduced me to the doggie mom world and I love it! I love seeing that there are more people like me out there. I actually thought I was the only one :oops:

The dog walk was so nice yesterday. I got to see a lot of fellow animal lovers. There were about 20 Yorkies there. It seemed like everyone had one :o They had free microchipping, free doggie ice cream, contests, picture taking (I got 4 wallets and a button) It was great! I think this is fantastic! In the "real world" you guys don't know how hard it is for me to find people that love their animals as much as we do on this board. My friends think I'm nuts lol. When it's cold I tuck Elle in with her special blankie. She gets kisses and hugs and she sits on my lap while im on the PC sometimes. She has her own basket full of toys and she gets to sleep with me. And this is only love from me, she also has my mom and my cat shadow, who's her right hand man. I commend everyone on this site for their love of animals, it says a lot of the type of people you all are, and I wish there were more of us out there in the world 8)

I'm excited about the NYC dogswalk this Sunday. I only got $57 from sponsorships but I'll buy some souvenirs over there to make up for it. This is our first year at the dogwalk so wish us luck! I'll take pics and will post 'em up. I'm sure there will be great dogs walking.

it's bad owners like that that give pits a bad name. I was at the dog park 3 weeks ago and there were a whole bunch of pits there. Elle isn't socialized so I didn't dare put her in with the dogs. I know I was stereotyping, but there weren't a lot of smaller dogs there. :oops: I hope you have better luck next time at the park. Your pup deserves to play too!

When Elle was a younger she hated it too. But she got used to it :o

In order to take Elle to the city in the train I have to put her in a carrier. i bought her a carrier from ebay [url]http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/endophany/PC2002black.jpg[/url] but she doesnt want to get in it. I try to put her in but she jumps out. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her in there? Thankies in advance :oops:

Well I went and didn't get a chance to go in because there were people standing in the cold since 7am to get their animals neutered. So all the spots were filled. I'm glad Elle didnt get done there because the pictures of the van on the website are very misleading :o So I made an appointment with the humane society instead. She'll have to stay overnight there, but I'd rather that than to spay her in a van :(
