Awww. I don't think the 1 I volunteer at gets many older dogs we mostly get dogs from "to many" animals house holds u wouldn't beleive how many dogs (and cats) people sneak into their homes...

My friend posted that cuz she forgot to log on to her name I did tell him to go but I also had Cinco out on his leash for his morning walk and idk about their dog but cinco don't like many male dogs. We also have a window in our kitchen when u look out u can see the side of our front porch and our drive which is where the dog normally goes when he comes over by our house(probably since thats they go in the afternoon and there scents probably strongest there?) We've done stuff for the dog my dad caught him once or twice when the owners weren't home so either they were out looking for him or just weren't home (my dad went over there and knocked on both doors) this was b4 he said he was gonna take him to the HS i think. I'll try to find the post i made a few months back about this.

I was looking at this site with all sorts of puppies for sale and u wouldn't beleive some of the breeds I found! Bolognese [img]http://img.vianet-llc.com/puppyfind/bolognese/m_659009.jpg[/img] is this a real breed???

I was in the office 1 time when the head of volunteers said that to some1 on the phone. BTW I wouldn't let her into the part of ur shelter where everything is to be kept hush hush cuz we had a huge meeting and got yelled at cuz a volunteer told some people about some dogs that weren't utd on vacs and stuff and had the whole city calling cuz they were designer dogs.

When my dogs do escape we goto after them. Even if it takes hours. I guess u guys would have to live around here to understand what I'm talking about. Plus of the words in the original post. Ok I've complained about my neighbors here b4 but right now I need a rant period! Why do we even bother helping our neighbor catch there dog? Seems as though everytime we catch him and return him to the neighbors house the next week he's out running again and coming into our yard and pestering my dogs when they're out? U'd not beleive how many times the poor thing has been almost by cars right his ignorant owners are outside! Last time they said he don't know the name they gave him(checkers) I thought that to be funny cuz when I yelled for him he came right away :roll: the last time he got out me and my friend just laughed from afar cuz they don't help catch our dogs when they get out and throwing snow didn't help either. We watched him from the park come into my yard and I was thinking to myself "Don't u dare do ur bussiness in my yard!" If it weren't for the little ones in the household over there my parents would have just put him the car and took him to the HS whenever he ran out. So they could put up with knocking some sence into those people! Why do people get dogs when they can't care for them? This family was a c@t family and should go back to cats and give the dog to a person that knows alot about his breed mix.

yea I'm glad she's better. it was only in the morning but I missed her snippy attitude.

By all means don't get me wrong I was just reading the latest thread posted by this author and they mentioned something about this Cookie dog so I searched it. We're all friends here(well most of the time that is)wouldn't wanna start nething.

Well I know there are many rescue dogs and dogs from breeders here that we all love and was wondering how u all fell for ur beloved pets? I'll start. We fell for Dahlila when the lady took her and her sister out for us to look at and Dahlila came right to my mom. We fell for Cinco when we were looking at adopting our number 2 dog and went to the HS and were walking up and down the isle and walked by his cage and didn't see him at 1st(he was in the back) and he ran up to the front putting his to the door and barked so I turned around and looked into his deep eyes and my dad called my mom on her cell and told her to come so we could do a meet and greet.

Ok 1st let me say I'm 15 and probbaly take care of my dogs just as much if not more than mom and dad do. 2nd I want to say that even though this post is from last october i just can't keep my mouth shut. When I was in 1st grade my 1st dog max died at 15 yrs old and my parents made the mistake of adopting a dog the next day cuz my mom saw a dog that was the exact same mix as her childhood dog Sam. Bichon poodle mix. We wound up adopting him only to find out a few months later that he never got puppy shots by the last owner b4 us and this meaning he became distemper +! Also he was socioly backwards. My parents just couldn't afford the treatment at the time for distemper so he went to the HS again. At the time we had no internet to post about him.

what I did when he did it today is pushed him off and in a nice but firm manner told him "no"

Dahlila was sick this morning. The poor thing threw up 3 times in less then a minute :o I'm sick to so I was on the bed when I saw her staring at the floor so I picked her up and cuddled her thinking Cinco just got a little to rough with her. Then she started making these hacking sounds so I sat up thinking she needed her collar adjusted then she threw up! then she jumped off the bed and threw up 3 more times...Poor girl :roll: She's not throwing up now but she's been quite all day and poor Cinco's bored out of his mind. Well Dahlila goes to the vet thursday I'll ask mom if we should bring a Fecca sample in. Cinco misses playing with her probbaly right now since he's following her everywhere.

Well as I recall i didn't ask her to walk her I asked her to get the leash on her and wait for me while I finished cleaning up the poop. Plus it was kinda giving her her own medicine with all the stuff she made me do it at her house. btw-this was last summer I just needed a really big rant time since she's been doing stuff to build it up(after numerous times of telling her my house my rules listen to them). Sorry if this sounded mean but the bugs going around here.

I'm not taking sides here since I feel bad for Nookie and her dogs but I also agree with other posters. I'm gonna try to put this as nice as possible but"I'm only 15" is no excuse cuz I'm 15 and never would even dream of walking my dogs espicaly Cinco off leash. Considering Cinco can jump a 4 ft fence then who knows what could happen if he's off a leash.

Cinco only humps me when I'm laying on the floor with my knees up. He humps my friends arm but only hers so far. Idk maybe he's just starting to get rid of the un fixed male feelings?

I think the time she nipped is when she came at her to fast and Dahlila also don't like strangers picking her up. The couch thing is Dahlila was on the midle cushion meaning em had 2 other 1's to use. She got told the rules of the house (she did somethings to piss my parents off like spilling milk on the bills and not saying nething until my mom saw milk running off the counter and boy did my dad go nuts when he saw wet stains on the envolopes but luckily she wasn't there then) the night that happened Dahlila followed me everywhere that emily wasn't gonna be. Dahlila got scolded cuz she listens to "no bite".
