so i need your help...can someone please give me a good name for a small cute cuddly male dog...a little description he is 7lbs, white,shy but loves to cuddle....he need a boy name but sweet and i am lost just post the first thing that comes to mind

i like the name stryker but i am biased (sp)...and he is a cutey...cant wait to see him

Hey guys i just got off the phone with dal and she had to rush boonie back to the hospital..he had a seizure and she said he is not getting enough oxegen which trigured the seizure...they asked he would be able to make it back home and they said that he would be able to fly if he makes it...please keep dal in your thoughts on top of the worrying about the news on our husbands now boonie might not make it... i dont know if she will post on here but i thought you should know

So at my home my GSD never has had an accident but the first time we got her but she has been left at home by herself and she has never went pee or poo in my house well since we have been visiting my moms house it is a daily basis she goes pee outside and she has all kinds of room to run and work out her movements...but no she waits until she comes in and we leave for something and she goes and takes a poo in my room. what should i do to make her quit just out of respect for my mom and a habit i dont want to take back home with me...

hey dal no advice i am still trying to find out how to get rid of kool aid stains....let me know if the folex works....be careful with the steamcleaning remember the guy said it would leave a bald spot if you do it too much and i know you and your compulsive steam cleaning....:)

ok now i have to say i like the idea of a teacup size pup...if there is no such breed what are the smallest size you can get in those breeds. Also i see people talking about back yard breeders and i know DAL even said my SIL is one but i dont know exactly what one of those is...could you explain. at first i thought they might be mixed by owners and sold but i think i saw that some people have mixed puppies on here so i wasnt sure.

stupid question....is pet sitting in your home or mine?

it would be for the weekend of 30-3 it is a 4 day usually dal would sit but being it is really close to departure date so she is going with her hubby somewhere too. My girl is german shepherd do you pet sit large dogs. ok she is not that large she is just spoiled.

i am such a wuss to me they all look like jail but i just dont want to leave my baby girl....i feel all heartbroken.

we have several kennels here that do boarding, personally i would rather take star with us but the hotel said no. and i am not the one who is paying for the hotel....what should i look for any questions i should ask...i will check back later

i didnt see purina on any of the posts is that the same. I appreciate the posts i am going to look into a couple of those. With Stars sensitive stomach never being on the same food for long periods of time I dont want to keep switching her around. I talked to a trainer that gets a brand that is baked in an oven in california i cant remember the name right now but she says its all natural and baked in an oven and delivered to your door. I will find out and post later

So here is my dilima Star my GSD in her previous home they fed her puppy food and just changed it to kibbles and bits. Now since i am a new dog owner my friends are giving helpful advice that usually is the same but now they disagree Friend 1 recommends Large Breed Pedigree Friend 2 recommends Iams Large Breed with glucosamine. now my question is...what is the right brand for Star due to she is a little underweight and needs a stable diet.

So first I am so excited my first topic on this thread. As you know i got a new dog Star. Well here is the deal she is underweight a little and she has never ever had a bath. even on our walk last night if there was water she bolted. Star is an inside dog but the smell is horrific. Now i am going to clean my floor today but she needs a bath and to be brushed. The brushing i dont think she will mind but how am going to give her a bath if she hates water. And is there anything you recommend putting on her for her to maintain a good smell. Dont get me wrong i know that dogs are going to have pet odor but since no bath it is really bad any help i will appreciate.

sorry didnt want the post to be super long convo 2 Me-Ok Mel we are leaving where do you want me to put Sam. Mel-Kids put the dog in the kennel (and this is at 1pm) Me- Mel dont forget Sam is in the kennel you let him out right (and this is at 11:45 that night) Mel- No i will just let him out in the morning before i leave he will be fine. Convo 3 My son was playing with Sam and having fun and my sister in laws friend stopped by and said friend- you like that thing so much you should take him Me- I tried and she said she wouldnt give it up Mel- Yeah I am worried about him biting her kids(now remember my kids have been playing with Sam for days now) friend- Mel let her take that annoying thing all he does is bark I always throw rocks at him to shut him up Mel- Yeah and she got him a couple of times (as she laughs) and for everyone who reads this please dont judge me i dont like what she does and want to rescue the animal so bad i dont want him put to sleep is why i want to take him but if we leave here with out him i am calling the sheriffs office on the way out...it makes me mad and i dont know if i am overeacting cause i am very judgy towards his family. well what do you think

so i thought i would bring up this topic again to update on the situation....i said she had a german shepherd she does and it is now pregnant i told her i didnt think it was wise to let the pups be messed with right away and she said the kids would be able to start playing with them in a few days.... not sure if i told you that she also has a pom but she does and it is always stuck in the kennel and not groomed at all....now here is my problem with this dog... His name is Sam and I love him I want him to be safe so I asked her if i could have him due to this being the third time he has pooped so much in the kennel where he lives that it keeps getting stuck around the area... and when i say kennel let me clarify that i mean a travel crate for small animals..... here are a couple of conversations we had you tell me and sorry so long but i am fuming... Convo 1 Me- Hey Mel would you consider me taking care of Sam i have a yard and my son would love a playmate. Mel-You better not ask my husband that question cause we all hate the thing he would get rid of it in a heartbeat Her Husband- I dont care i wish i could just shoot it with my 9mm. Her Kids- yeah we dont care we hate it and wish it would die. Mel- well i cant let you have him cause there is a lady that wants him to breed with hers.

maybe zebra could tell that you were concerned about him and that was just his way of letting you know you that he was alright.
