Hey thanks for the advice i dont have anything with a scent on it unfortunatly but they do this howling thing together so i was thinking of him standing outside and howl and open the door and let her go find him....i do hope she doesnt growl at him it will just break his heart.

Hey as you know my husband is coming home after 8 months of being gone and i am so scared that my dog will forget him...Star is a 3 year old GSD and her and him had such a bond when he left and i have showed him to her on the web cam but i am so scared about her first meet with him...i keep picturing her just jumping on him and recognizing him or growling.....she is very protective since he left about people coming into the house...any tips on how to introduce them without my husbands feelings getting hurt cuz his baby girl might not remember him

and just cuz i was bored i have found 40 threads by him in 15 days i understand that some do have points but still mabye spread them out

Both sides have good points but mabye if he posted in the other different topics...like if he has to ask alot of questions think of 1 question per thread per day....and yes sometime people post off the wall topics but not all at one time....and i understand the flooding because if everyone posted 20 different questions at one time in seperate threads we would never get to the end of it....

If he cant make it back they could hire someone to take care of the yard but depending on how quick the paperwork goes thru it would just be considered an emergency and they kick him out....they barely gave DAL neighbor alot of time before she has to move

I understand if you don't feel up to answering, I was just curious.[/quote] I have not been divorced but i do live in housing and you are supposed to give a 30 day notice before you leave or they will charge you a fee and i think they might let him come home to clear himself with or without her but DAL would know more when she contacts them

one of my firends suggested a bladder infection...i am going to get it checked out she said if the smell has a potent smell and it did smell awful so mabye that is the reason for hte not holding like usual in the rain... ~thanks you guys for all you good advice

Thanks DogPaddle that was good advice i did steam clean the spots and use spray and wash do you think she can still smell it after that... Also schippsmom i just decided that same thing to keep the door closed but you can only keep a 2 yr old away from his toys for so long...i am going to go back to potty training but it only happens when it when it rains so i hope she gets over this soon

Maybe he felt the baby was too close to the hurt knee...when my kids got to close to Star's back which was hurt at the time she used to grab my sons arm with her mouth and move it...scared the poo out of me i thought she just bit my baby...and then when i got to him no blood and i noticed that she was just stopping him from touching her sores...i hope that is it and the baby is not hurt...I know it is a hard decision whatever you decided i wish you luck on your choice

She's using my sons room as a bathroom!!! My GSD that is. Well it just started raining recently and my GSD hates to go out in the rain...Well the other day my kids came and told me that the dog went pee and poop in Adams room...I ran in there and started cleaning the mess and got on to Star for it but it was like she knew she had her head down as soon as i started picking it up...well i thought that was maybe an accident...anyways the sun was out after that and nothing she went outside but yesterday it rained and she went poop again in Adams room and then today when i was in the bath she peed on his carpet....She is currently crated because i had to finish getting ready... My dog is an inside dog and has no accidents since we had her and is housebroken completly she knows to go to the door when she needs out but now that it is raining alot she doesnt want to go outside and i put her out there and shut the door and leave her out there for a while and what does she do she sits under the patio and jumps on the door which i cant afford the dog scratches as it is(post gets mad)...What do i do?

does the cintronella stink? Also i have little ones is the spray bad for the kids i have my maltese who is a bit of a yipper and i was looking with DAL but my concern on the spray was the kids? How harmful?

so i told you guys when i got my maltese we were trying to think of a name and we chose Leo but my 2 year old in his pronunciation calls him Lilo...I do correct him and say Leo What should i do change the name to Lilo or just keep correcting him

I have a maltese and his name is leo...he is 4yrs old and we are housetraining him

I was one of the ones who asked i am so sorry how are the kids doing with this all? I asked Dal today and she said that you guys were just making sure he was comfortable... i am here for you if you need anything

I would say i would let leo come over and play but i can't get him to take 2 steps without wanting a lap to lay in....he is my lazy dog...Star is always up for going to the dog park but i know how worried you guys are about her grumpiness since she got into that scuffle with cody and zoey that one day.... well anyways if you want to see if leo wants to play with bailey i dont mind that either

omg i loved all the names i need to decide quickly cuz right now i am just going come here snookums..i dont want him to think that is his name..

he is a little shy at first but has little dog syndrome my big dog loves him but my little one thinks he is the top cheese...he loves to cuddle and if he is on the ground will dance till you pick him up. and he has the cutest little trot

he is a maltese...no pics yet due to my usb cord is in use at another house, i will get some and post them as soon as i can
