I've come close a few times, but i was able to control myself & ended up only yelling at my dog. Dogs don't hold gruges, they love you no matter what. I wouldn't worry about it as long as it never happens again.

Peeves: Snoopy lays across where my legs are suppose to be when sleeping, so I ended up sleeping in weird positions. She eats goose poop by the pound when I don't pay attention :tard:. She also barks at anything that's within 2 miles of our house, regardless if it's a piece of paper or people. Funny: She sits like a ducky with her butt on the groud and her hind legs wide open (pictures someday). When I get home from work, she gets so excited that she make snarlly faces at me, position her butt at my face, & wages her tails (which she have none) so hard that her whole butt wiggles. She covers up her own poop & pees when she's done with snow or grass depending on the weather. She also like to greet my friends that comes in with her nose up their butts or crouch.

I was always told to not feed dogs raw bones, because the chewed bone chips might tear up their stomach. but here i read it's okay... which way is it? my dog have bad breath, and regularly chew raw hides. any idea how to get rid of her bad breath?

Yah, I have my doubts about the whole truth with the report, but even just half or 10% truth makes me uneasy to continue buying Iams products. I do find other more reputable kennel/rescue org/humane society that supprots the boycott also, so there's gotta be some truth (however little) to the report. I was looking for an excuse for upgrading my dog food anyway, so here is the perfect excuse. Yet another way to spoil my baby princess!

thanks everyone for all the info & help. For now, I've decided to try Wellness first, and will be switching between it and Canidae for variety every 6 month or so. The store I went doesn't have the Canidae in stock at the moment. One questions, how important is veg in the diet? the only thing really different between Wellness & Canidae are the veg ingredient.

I recently read about the Iams cruelty article :( and am wondering about dog foods. Most of what I can find on the web talking about Iams cruelty comes from PETA, with its' bad reputation, I've my doubts :-? . I currently feed my princess Iams, so I'm wondering how many people feed their dog Iams/Eukanuba and what's another good popular brand dog food (something that I can get at Petco/Pet Smart) if I decided to switch? what about something like Science Diet?

Is this really true, or is this another PETA typical protest? Don't mean to offend, but most of what PETA does not help their name, like the Petco thing... I thought Petco does a pretty good job with sponsoring adopting days on the weekend. At least in my areas of Petco/Pet Smart stores. I look at the list of dog food brands, and it implies all popular dog brand foods are not acceptable. Can most if not all vets in america be wrong about something like this? I would have think it'll be a bigger story if it's totally true. I'm wondering where does people stand on this?

I couldn't stop laughing :D :D and I thought my dog is the only one. Many time she will sit and farts, then she'll turn around and try to figure out where the sound comes from.
