Believe it or not we use Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner on our doggies. Asim's skin get's flaky so vet suggested that. ( It also works wonders on my hair. :wink: )

Does anyone have any info on this? What I mean is, I donate to them all the time. I then get address labels for my $20-$40 donations. Well I just received today an assorment of cards and enveloples from them from my last donation. These cards are beautifull :o . How much of my donation is actually going to the rescue? Would I be better off donating my monies to just my local shelter? I heard somewhere that the CEO or whatever he/she is called uses the monies donated for other uses instead of the animals. Is that true? Any information would be greatly helpfull. Thank you. :P

Hmmm I agree with you also. I am split down the middle on this. See my above post where I wrote that FR is having issues with Pits. How do I say this without offending anyone? Ok I have real estate properties in this city. The city is a low class, blue colar workers. Over populated with strays. FR was notoriously know for illegal Pit Bull fighting. High crime well you get my point. On the street I have my homes I see a white Pit unleased all the time run up and down the street. She is very nice but what if I wasn't scared of her? Anywho I feel terribly for the owner and I truly understand that D-Bo ran out the door, but being familiar with the city I would have taken extra precaution. RIP D-Bo.

Shattering, keep up posted on any news. I'm searching the local papers for any updates on the a$$wipe. What this jerk did is disturbing. What is being missed here is that the city of Fall River is having issues with Pit Pulls and he is only adding to these issues and fears. For him to say that he feared for his safety and he had to stabb the poor animal now others will feel the need to do the same :evil: :evil:

Wow. These stories make me feel so much better now.. Last Thanksgiving when Asim was the Ham. ( Some of you might remember the pictures I posted of him wearing the wrapping.) Anywhoo. I put the Ham in the oven. Usually the house smells like ham in about an hour but for some strange reason 2 hours later still no ham smell. :-? I kept opening the oven sniffing but never took note that there was not HEAT! So I finally said. " Self what is wrong with my ham? I do not see any drippings? Self why is there no ham smell?" Then myself said back " Hello stupid you forgot to turn on the oven you tard." So I had to call my mom and tell her to delay the diner by a few hours because of my stupid moment. :tard:

They are "real". She is a purebred. As a matter of fact theirs a member here that knows the breeder.

Kongs are great. They keep dogs busy for hours. ( well at least my dogs. )
