1. I don't know what to say either Jeanne. :( Just that I feel for you and the heartache you are going through. :iloveyou:
2. One of my customers owns a GSD. Everytime I go to the door it goes berserk barking. Yet - they got burgled and it never made a sound. :o They all slept soundly in bed and never heard a thing. I said I do not know how they managed to do that, it hears me coming up the drive.
3. Thanks Cassie :kciuki: I tried the oatmeal bath and applying it to her skin last year. I will try it again. As I home cook my dogs food they do get Dr Pitcairns supplement of Lecithin, Brewers Yeast, Kelp and Calcium added to their food along with Omega oil. It probably doesn't help where we live but there's not much I can do about that. I will try some of the other suggestions you made and let you know how Rosie gets on. Anything to ease her discomfort. :(
4. :multi: Congratulations Candy. :multi:
5. God, burglars would have a field day here, Rosie would run and hide under the bed :D and Ruby would go and get her ball, :D she thinks everyone that comes in the house has come to throw her ball for her.
6. Thanks SC and DO. :D
Anyway, the Benedryl has a tendency to make her tired.
God I don't need Rosie to be any more lazy than she already is. Her thryroid problem doesn't help. She recently had another blood test and is still on the same dose. She hates taking her tablets and we give it to her just before a little treat. She hides it in the flap in her mouth then eats the treat and spits the tablet out. :x They have always had Omega Oil with their food, I am determined she's not going on Steroids again this year. Will keep trying things and see what happens. English Setters are renowned for skin problems and ear infections and yet recently over here they were voted the cheapest dog to keep. :o Don't know where they got that from, she's cost me a small fortune in vets bills and skin washes and creams etc, whereas Ruby has cost us nothing, she never has any problems (except for when she cut her foot). PS: We work in pounds and ounces. The metric system is here but us oldies prefer the old system.
7. Well it's spring and along with it has come Rosie's skin problem again. :( If you remember last year her tummy was all red and itchy. It cleared up in September and we've had no probs with it till now. It has to be a grass seed allergy. I'm dreading going through all that again and have to try something else this year (although I tried most everything). So it's back to searching the net for remedies. :( If anyone has any ideas I'll be glad to hear them.
8. I would take him back asap. I feel for you, it must be an awful situation to find yourself in. Good luck to you both :buzi:
9. Yes, at least it's a happy outcome at the end of an awful day. :D Welcome home India :B-fly:
