Personally no, I don't let them lick anything that isn't theirs. I feed them leftover scraps from my plate or divide it and put it in their bowls. I have never let them lick cutlery although I caught Rosie licking the tops of the jars at the bottom of the fridge door. I could never let them lick my plates, it's just something I'm personally not comfortable with. My neighbour lets hers lick everything.

Love ya Rube :D Rosie (Dozy Rosie, Biscuit, because it's the only word she responds to). :roll: 5 year old English Setter, so laid back it's scary. Loves howling to the theme music of Coronation Street though. Love ya Rosie Cleo (Cleese, Titch, Rib Dib, Little One, Bugger Lugs) Age between 13 and 15 years, cross Chi. Given to mum years ago when the family were having a new baby and didn't want her anymore. Sadly now with me since mum passed. But gladly because I love her and she is coming on in leaps and bounds now she has regular walkies and doggie company. Not that she bothers with Ruby and Rosie, oh no, she's too high and mighty for that. Yet chases every other dog on the Heath. :lol: It goes without saying I love you Titch. :D

Already got the Christmas stockings. But going to get all three a lovely diamante collar by Pucci. I just can't make my mind up what colour to get each of them. Helppppppppppppppppppppppp :lol:

We've just had all this with Ruby. Been bonfire night here recently and the fireworks are like bombs. :evil: I've never heard them so loud. It got to the stage where she wouldn't go out for her wee wee last thing at night. She paces, drools and shakes. :( I know you aren't supposed to pet them etc but it's soooooooo hard when she's practically on your lap frightened. I try not too but in the end I usually comfort her. Will try harder next time. :roll:

Halloween is just getting to be big here (still not like the US though). Nobody I know would even think of dressing their dogs up for it. :( I'd love to but we'd get some funny looks. :roll: Anyway there will be fireworks going off and since Ruby is terrified we'll be staying in and hiding. :cry: She wouldn't go for her walk tonight waiting for a big bang.
