1. :o  Well, I guess that answers my question!  Life can be cruel, can't it? 8) Do you have a whole colony of the little beasties? My sympathies. (Good girl, Zoey!)
2. :o No thank you. No chipping for me! I can tell people where I live. :D
3. Grendel is HANDSOME. :iloveyou: Have a good time fostering him until he finds his forever home. :D
4. I thought those people were just too lazy to let the dogs outside and keep them supervised while they were doing their business! Waiting for their partner to do this chore instead of doing it themselves. Keeping the dogs outside was bad advice; having a fence is a good thing though. Why on earth would you not have house trained your dogs yourself? No way would I let three dogs poop and pee in my house! And now they're having a child. :o ...I'll bet Dr. Phil's puppy isn't outside all the time. He was very cute!
5. I hope her treatment is a success!
6. Hooray! I love good news. I'm so glad he made it back to you. :D He's been through a bad experience, so it might take him a while to get back to normal.
7. Poor little skunk. :( China exacted her revenge! She must be very tenacious. Here's a question, if another skunk moves in, will she do it again? Sorry about your ordeal. :o
8. Glad to hear he is back home with his brothers and you! :D
9. I'm so sorry to hear Leo is missing. It's agonizing to not know where he is. We are sending positive thoughts your way! I hope you are reunited with him soon.
10. I'm glad to hear the dog sitter worked out and that you had a great time in Texas! :D Welcome Home!
11. I'm so sorry to hear the news about Zoe. :( Parting is difficult. (((((Kat)))))
12.
people are stupid in general... on a positive note, I have a friend who lives down there. her and her husband built a concrete "safe room" in the lowest section of their house. the pets are crated and put in the safe room if it looks like the hurricane is going to hit. they only go in there if its right on them, but the pets are safe always. I asked her why she didnt go in there until the last minute? her answer? "I want to make sure whats going to happen....I dont want to leave them in there if I dont have to.." 8)
Quite a contrast from the woman in this story! Good for your friend. She sounds awesome! :D
13. Any news? Jerry was neutered the day before we adopted him from our local Humane Shelter. He was 5 at the time. He sat a little sideways for a while, but otherwise was fine! I hope Riley has an easy recovery and a warm reunion with his brothers!
14. Jerry gets them and twice a day I clean them off with a kleenex. He appreciates it...I think! :D He seems to get them more in the summer. Allergy perhaps?
15. Aaww...poor little things. :( Especially Teddie.... So the mats were like a really bad toupee? I don't think I've ever seen that before. :o
16. So something good has come out of this incident! :D A new friend... :D Who's got dog smarts! Thanks for the update. I'm happy to hear it's turned out so well.
17. I'm sure you just scooped him gently out of the way with your foot. 8) Right? No harm done. Perhaps the little dog's owners will have learned a lesson. Next time they may not be so lucky...
18. I guess my perspective is a little skewed. Comes from owning a saint, I guess. No offense intended!
19. Good luck with bath time! Be happy he's not a giant dog...
20. Hehehe...that is one good-natured dog! Very fetching! She makes a lovely standard poodle!
21. :o I would have gotten a scare too! I'm glad to hear that Jesse still has get up and go! It's all perfectly normal for him to sleep hard at his advanced age, but it's scary. :o Ben is going on 8 years old now (although it hardly seems possible) and he sleeps very soundly too. He doesn't always wake up when he hears his name, but he will still wake up if you place your hand on his side. I've done that more than once to see if he is still breathing.... I have a feeling I'm heading into your realm of experience within the next year or so. :(
22. :o I'm so sorry about this trouble, Courtnek. That's something you never expect when you take your dogs out for a stroll. :x The officer will have noted all of this down in his report. I would think the dobie's owner will clearly be found at fault. But it's still dang discouraging to have to go through all the court nonsense.... All the guy had to do was have his dog leashed!
23. Happy Birthday, Tiggie! :new-bday: Will there be any birthday pictures?
24. That is one ugly dog. He's indeed fortunate to have a mom who loves him! I laughed out loud at this sentence in the news story: He's so ugly even the judges recoiled when he was placed on the judging table, said his proud owner, Susie Lockheed, of Santa Barbara. Poor pup! The milky eyes creep me out.
25. I wholeheartedly agree with the advice given. If I let them, both my fellas would hold out for "better stuff". Better doesn't mean better for them, but something they would prefer. Just like a little kid who doesn't want to eat their veggies but wants a cookie.
