1. lol...thanks....don't let their 'innocent' look fool you....they strike fear into the hearts of potted plants, and the occasional lizard
2. Well I posted about this elsewhere , but far be it from me not to add my 2 cents in yet again  That collar is completely ridiculous. What purpose would ANYONE have for subjecting their dog to that other than plain old selfish "look how cool I am with my big tough dog". People are morons....
3. That is absolutely ridiculous  OGirl....just move down here....h*ll, some guy here in Largo decided to put A HORSE (illegally)in his backyard for his daughter, and the city RE-ZONED so he could keep it(despite protests from his H/O association). Somehow I don't think home owner's associations have much pull here
4. Honestly...I too am more partial to the Boxberry line. I find the Euros TOO heavy looking in the front. Again I am basing my opinion on personal aesthetic preference.. I think UK lines are gorgeous and athletic looking....stockier than American Boxers, yet not quite as 'blocky' and 'bull- doggish' as the euro lines. Its a nice compromise. NOW...if I was looking for a working Boxer...I would definately go with the Euro lines.
5. yessiree! Of course I usually reserve my threats for those 'special' occasions when Lyra is running rampant through the house with a pair of my undies (true to form, she only performs this endearing little 'trick' when people are visiting....ain't she cute?? ), or Loki has decided to cock his leg against the big screen tv . Those are also the times when I wonder how hard it would be to convert to being a feline person. :evilbat:
6. Rowie....thanks for the nightmares! ....hmmmm maybe I'll just get a poodle instead
7. Thats great news :D . Good luck with your search.......I'll be looking forward to lots and lots of smushy face puppy pics!!
8. This canine witch hunt is getting completely out of hand :x ......BSL is making everyone paranoid and crazy....all of a sudden every Tom Dick and Harry is a dog expert. The misidentification of breeds is a very scary thing...no dog owner should feel like they are in the 'safe' zone.....I have seen GSD's falsely accused of being wolves and Danes misidentified as Pit Bulls lately...it is pure insanity. My male Boxer is routinely mistaken for a Pit Bull....I worry that if BSL becomes an issue in my area that I will face the same injustice as this poor woman. Some brainiac will decide my dog is something he's not and I have no way to prove his actual lineage...he is a rescue. please keep us informed seij....
9. What is Kat's word??...Oh yes 'Dickwang' ...I think that suits Mr Beck beautifully. All hail Kat.. :modla:
10. I have seen the pics of her dogs that she posted here :D
11.
Have you considered a Dosa?...I MUST have one ...or two
LOL K...thinking of knocking out a wall or two in the new house? Dosa's are gorgeous too, although they seem to be even less common around here than the Cane Corso. We opted for the Corso because its a little smaller and a little less 'jowly' than the Neo or the Dosa. I'm keeping an eye on http://www.canecorsorescue.org , to see what comes available. They don't seem to have a lot of CC's coming into rescue, but I expect that'll change now that their popularity has started to take off ...the BYB'ers will be churning them out in droves I'm sure :x . I'm still thinking a pup might be the better way to go though, since they are such a dominant breed, I'd like to be able to socialize and establish who's boss BEFORE he/she outweighs me :o
12. ...My advice?...tell him you want a HORSE...then negotiate DOWN to a mastiff, It'll seem like a *bargain* then
13. Well after a whole lot of debating about breeds and much whining and cajoling on my part, DH and I have decided on which breed of dog we want next. We've settled on the Cane Corso. It won't be for another year or two but we've already started researching, and consulting with breeders :D I'll ALWAYS have Boxers (in my eyes they are the perfect dog) but we've been talking for awhile about adding another breed to the family. I've always been a huge fan of mastiffs and the Corso seems like the best fit for us (we also considered the Bullmastiff and the Neo). Anyhoo, any input or knowledge anyone has about this breed would be much appreciated...as I said, we won't be ready for a pup for another year or two but I'd like to be well prepared when the time comes!

15. Welcome :D I'm no expert but it looks like an apricot poodle to me....
16. :D Yay!...can't wait to see them!!!
17. I wouldn't mind a copy either: boxerdawg@gmail.com thanks Kara :)
18. lol...yeah I watched the full interview. I love that everytime she asked him a question pertaining to what will happen when the next 'dangerous breed' comes along, his answer was "well, that didn't happen in Winnipeg" (because apparently ONE ac officer told him so)
19. Bryant is such a useless tool....I'm embarrassed to share citizenship
20. you know...the sad thing is, the more we post the link to their site on these threads, the more we are helping them advertise. Everytime you post an url it helps boost that site's rankings in the search engines....especially on a popular site like Dogo.....google's spiders probably index it on a regular basis. So when someone does a random search on a dog related topic in Google, WoC is more likely to show up. Just something to keep in mind. I am guilty of it too :(
21. Great...an Ebay for millers.. http://breederville.com/ :x :x :x :x
22. Welcome to Dogo :) I can't wait to see pics of your dogs! I have only been lucky enough to meet one Leonberger in my life and I have yet to meet a Beauceron. Such beautiful dogs.
23. I have the exact same rule with my two Boxers. They know the drill. They come in one at a time and sit by the door to get their paws, legs, bellies and faces wiped. They actually enjoy getting toweled off now.My back entryway is all ceramic tile so I just sweep and damp mop it after they come in. The rest of the house stays relatively dirt free. It would be a bit of a chore wiping 6 big dogs, but much less of a chore than having to dust/vacuum/ and mop your whole house several times a day. :D
24. Congrats!!! I can't wait to see pics:) I just love the color of the Tervuren. Beautiful beautiful dogs...
25. Great looking site Kat :D Best of luck with the new Business!
