Mouse, I'm really confused...why no rabies vacs in the UK? do you not have animal life there that carries rabies? like bats, raccoons, etc?
we are surrounded by water no rabies here our wild life is clear- we are very strict on imported animals coming in -

AllAmericanPUP wrote: If you got it from a "breeder" then you supported a back yard breeder.
With this comment do you imply that all breeders are back yard breeders? I hope you are smarter than to apply that label with such generality and lack of discretion. Someone who sells a dog for a profit is not a bad person. There is a huge commitment involved in breeding--time and money. Does it make you a bad person if you are paid for the work you do? Of course not. Why, then, would a breeder who sells a high quality dog be any different?
I think you have miss understood here - the breeder who supplys the pet shop pups is a BYB OR puppy millar

I found with Tiggie she had been in a puppy pen when she was with her breeder, so it was easy.a wire one in the day time only used we we are out or when we could not watch her- I also have a light weight one fabric and a zip a bit like a pop-up tent used at dog shows in the car and sometimes at night
-
voted again only 10 behind now come on get those votes in we can do it
-
thanks- we are delighted too it's only minor :) we were thinking the worst

I just love dog hair - with three dogs I get knee deep

Paddy had a tranquliza(sp) because he would not let the vet look at his lumps - so he has been a bit off all day. The lumps turned out to be Mucon deposits - Vet told me mucon is what makes the s/pei wrinkled but Paddy has extra bits by his tail - we have got steroyrd(sp) cream which will make them go down
-
don't forget the rules  we need a photo before we help you choose a name
-
a friend I work with is buying a Dachshund in two weeks when the puppy is 5 weeks- the breeder told her the mother has rejected the litter , I feel they should still be kept untill 8 weeks by the breeder - kept together in a puppy play pen without the bitch
-
I have found a cluster of lumps where Paddy's tail joins his body on the left side about 3 inches down a good half inch across - raised up, it is not red or angery looking. It was quite alarming he has only just turned 3 years old. We have an appointment with the vet on Thursday morning.
