I have found out that Gizmo LOVES Yogurt...she will devore it! it is so funny! he also likes having rice in with her food....so soon I will start adding chicken liver and hearts...and I will get back to everyone!! :D

Bronxie! Dont worrie she'll get it!!! Yes have one spot and tell her go potty, hurry lets go potty....before I moved into this house I also lived in an apartment and Gizmo would come wake me up in the cooooolllllldddd mornings and I would freeze my butt off but she would go and then back to bed...I know its difficult but I'm sure as long as you two go out and play enough I'm sure she cant mind being a spoiled rotten dog that lives inside!! LOL :D :P :D

Hmmm....ok! Well I guess she goes in at 7:00 and comes home later that night....did your dog wear on of those things around the neck?? I think I will have to have gizmo wear one..I dont want her to tear out her stiches..... I dunno..I will still be worried....

And Good luck....I remeber when I use to have three dogs and I would try to work with TDFH ( the dog from hell! ).... She would jump our six foot block wall and then walk on it like it was nothing and jump down when she heard a car coming and chase then she would go put all the horses in the neighbor hood in check.. LOL But Gizmo knows how to sit, shake (both hands) lay down and I'mm trying to get her to roll over and the beg ( where she sits on her back legs and has her paws up) but it's difficult....She has some hand signals down also! I love pits they are so smart and determined! :D

Well thanks! I thought of it and wanted to know!! Sasha Gizmo is the same way...when she goes to the dog park and trys to get a dog to play she sticks her butt in the air starts bark tail waggin and she decides to run! So she sticks her tail in between her legs and run...fast sofast some dogs cant keep up with her!! (She got it from her "childhood friend" witch is an American Eskimo! :D :P :D

Sasha your just like me!! My pit sleeps with us and pushes my boy almost off the bed and she is an inside dog!! She barely goes outside unless it is to go potty or the dog park or she is in trouble! STIFF: I love you pit! -- How old, Male? Female? Sasha or me to have a better pic do I need a pic that is far away so it looks like you and stiffs pics?? I want her body to show like in yours!! How,How,How,How,How!! But stiff congrats on your first paw..I'm still working for more also. Less than a month and I think I have 79 posts!!....actually I think in only two weeks!! Hmmm I have actually never heard of that before! Kind of made me laugh at first with a picture on my mind of my pup doing that! :D Well all that I could recommened is the water bottle. When my pup was doing something she wasn't suppose to do she go a spray. She will "pretend" to be mad for a little while and not do but then she will come and play with you again!! :wink: Another idea is put a sand box outside so she can play in it. Make sure it has a cover or you will have cats in it! - Previously posted in another reply, not sure who by though!- but thats all I could think of. Maybe she/he is bored?? Maybe get a toy that keeps her attention BIG TIME!!!! :D :D Good LUCK! :D :D

HorseFeathers you allways make me laugh! I wouldn't think you "dogging on my recipes that I found!" Don't worrie I like you and this forum!!! The grapes are toxic really! Yeah I'm just saying like 5 maybe in one bowl of food a day or so! Where could I get that Safflower oil?? whats it made out of? I'm not an expert bout this but play with her outside and then sit out there until she goes any keep saying go potty. I have no idea I've never heard of that! :-? when she does go out side pet her and say good girl....pretend she is just a couple weeks old. Maybe she has a week bladder???? Why may.....that person NEEDS to go to jail....he needs to learn what he did wrong...if they get a slp on the hand they will go back out and do it again :evil: :evil: God this justice for dogs of any type SUCKS! ~Home Made TREATS~ Scrumptious Scottie Scones 25 Scones 2 Cups White Flour 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder 1 Tablespoon Honey 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 Egg 1/2 Cup Skim Milk 1 Clove Garlic Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Combine Flour, Baking Soda, and honey in a bowl. Add oil, egg, milk, and garlic then stir till mixed. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick, cut into 2 inch squares and placed on greased baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes, cool on rack then serve. Store in airtight continer. ~Simple Simon's Bones~ 30 Large Bones 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder 1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter 1 Cup Skin Milk Preheat oven to 375 Degrees. In a bowl combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl mix Peanut Butter and Milk. Turn out dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut shapes. Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 20 Minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on a rack then store in air tight container. *Make sure you ALWAYS cool the food before you serve it to you pets!! :D I know everyone talks about what is in there dogs food well now you know becuase you can cook it for them! I went to the book store and found this great book called Barker's Grub by: Rudy Edalti! I got a couple of recipes and great extra info!! Hope everyone likes it!! Pits need high fiber and high fat content in their diet Foods that are good: Cabbage, potato, carrots, white or brown rice, venison, fish, beef and poultry. Great for after getting fixed!!! ~ Liver Love ~ (Once or twice a week if a puppy) 1 serving 1 1/2 cups of Chicken Livers 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 3/4 Cup Cooked White Rice 3/4 Cup Mashed cooked carrots (3 Medium Carrots) 1 TableSpoon Yogurt Brown Chicken Livers in the olive oilk over low heat for 20 minutes. Do not over cook or else the livers will be dry. Combine the livers, rice, carrots, and yogurt in bowl. Blend well and serve! * Personally I would grate the carrots because when cook veggies you loose all vitamins in them. * Rice prevents Diarrehea *May substitute Livers for Chicken Hearts Full week Recipe of Liver Love 10 1/2 Cups (5lbs.) Chicken Livers 1/2 Cup Olive Oil 5 3/4 Cups Cooked White Rice 5 3/4 cups Mashed Carrots 1/4 cup Yogurt *Raisins are extremly good source of Iron. Sprinkle 5 - 10 on top of food daily. *High Fat foods have been proven to reduce aggresion!! *Eggshell is the best source of calcium! ( Want to know how ask and I will tell how to make) ~ Non Meat Protein Healing Diet ~ 6 Large eggs, Hard boiled without shells 1/ 1/2 Cups cooked White Rice 1 Heaping Tablespoon cottage cheese ( and level fat content) 1/2 cup broth or more ( depending if your dog likes the taste of broth) Cook rice in broth, Mash eggs in bowl, add rice and cottage cheese and blend well. * Dont feed too much veggies - can cause blood in diarrhea abd ulcers in the intestines becuase of the fiber ~ Kidney Healing Meal ~ (Full Week) 1 Serving (7 Cups) 1 Cup Ground beef - 8 ounces ( 3 1/2 lbs.) (1/2 Cup) 1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil (14 Cups) 2 Cups cooked White Rice (3 1/2 Cups) 1/2 Cup Beef Broth Brown meat in olive oil.
