1. Thanks everybody for suggestions. :D I'll tell ya'll the second we hear.
2. Awww poor Gaia! Hope she feels better!
3. I sure hope so. K- you arent boring, just sensible. I know that you have to wait longer then that for your puppers (i forget his name.... o garsh, the bully..?). Ya'll are so nice! I'm so happy I found this site.... :D
4.
Oh, if you do tie her out until you get the fence fixed make sure she is no where near the other one. Some people think of these things and others don't so I thought I'd share that too. Once we had a GSD and a Husky/GSD mix and a big 20X20 fence for them when we were not home. Well, they dug a huge hole out of the bottom. This was on like a Wednesday. My husband at that time worked in concrete and knew they had a job that Sat and would have enough extra concrete to pour a slab under that fence so we put them on leads in the fence for the rest of the week where they could not reach each other. While we were at work the little girl, about 12 or 13, next door came over and decided they needed to be closer so she moved their leads so they were side by side. We came home to our Husky mix dead with the GSD's lead wrapped around his neck. So sad! Just thought I would share our sad story. Good luck with your fence!
OMG that is so sad! *hugs* What was that girl thinking? *hugs* Did both of them go to the bridge? *hugs* Oh my goodnes.... *hugs*
5.
it couldn't hurt to ask. we brought aspen home from rescue the day he was neutered! oh and remember good things come to those who wait. i know that is tuff at 13 but maybe you have to wait because "your" perfect dog is not there yet. do you believe everything happens for a reason?
I'll have to tell my dad to ask her. Yes I believe everything happens for a reason. But when a dog dies that you've only had for 8 months, its kind of hard. But we'll stick it out. We are commited to getting a dog. No matter how long it takes. But I just wish it would hurry up a bit!
6.        Darn it. We just got an email from the MAESSR Lady that we most likely wouldn't be offered a dog for 2 to 4 weeks. Pooper scooper! Cause most of the dogs arent spayed/neutered so they have to get "fixed". I wonder if we signed a contract that we would get them spayed/nuetered if they would offer us one sooner ( i dont even no if there is such a thing) Sorry, just needed to vent.... :x
7. Ya, you should really go to the docter. Don't make us come down there!!!! :x Just kidding, but come on, go ahead. They cant make it any worse :D
8. Hip Hip Horah! (I still think she looks like and Aussie but w/e) She'll have a much better chance of getting adopted there! :D
9. I was just about to say to put a classified up on Petfinder, darn u dal! :x just kidding  good luck! oh ya, y wouldn't your DH want to keep him!?!?!?!?
10. omd I am so sorry u have to give up your puppy! :( I'm sure somebody here could get it up on Petfinder. I'll try to help you find a new home for your pup in anyway that a can. I'll look into the petfinder thing. I'm guessin you want to pick the home, not just give it to a rescue or shelter? Let me know how I can help.
11. I know u posted awhile ago, but i just read this and it is heartbreaking. IMO, if i marry a guy who doesnt like my dogs, or doesnt like dogs in general, i'd never stay with him. You dont like my dogs, u dont like me. but thats just my opinion. what have you decided? how are things goin?
12. My brain process: :o :-? :x  :(
13. where is that place? looks kool....

16. mburnett- You live in Newport News? Do you by chance know a Jerry or Joni Evans? THey are my aunt and uncle!
17. hi i dont know u but hello again!
18. Your work allows you to bring dogs in? COOl! :shocked!:
19.
I do have a problem with over population...and IMO all people who breed are contributing to this problem.
I agree. My cousins have gotten both of their dogs from breeders. Thier first from a Soft-Coated Weaton Terrior and they just got a Labradoodle. They are cute little buggers tho  But still, go to the pound or a rescue if you want a specific breed, plus you pay less. But not to offend any breeders here. If you are breeding to improve the temperment or health of a dog then thats ok. But if you just do it for the $$$$$$ then thats stupid, no offense. Note: Sorry, I quoted too much of it
20.

You think? I've had one dog. And that was for 8 months
I apologize - I made an assumption and that was wrong, but I think you understand waht I was saying anyway
It's okay  no offense taken. I just thought it was funny. I know some kids that have been around dogs thier whole life and have no idea how to act around them. UGH if only parents were more responsible for those kinds of kids...
21.
If that had been Sash, the kid would have lost a hand... Which is of course why Sasha was not with me that day...
:o
22.
you are a teenager now and have prob been around dogs your whole life and Im sure have responsible parents who started teaching you about them from a young age........
You think? I've had one dog. And that was for 8 months. None of my friends really had dogs till they were like 9. But my parents did teach me manners unlike some of these kids from h-e-double hockey sticks
23.
ESSlover whats wrong with our own photo hosting site http://groups.msn.com/Dog-O-Maniaphotohosting
I just heard about it from somebody else, and it was easy so, whatever.... How does that hosting site work? Same way?
24. I saw a commercial for Kibbles and Bits new wet dog food that looked real yummy. I dont know if they have it for seniors tho. It had "real" slices of meat and peas and carrots.
25.
I'm aware you've only been approved to adopt so far (I've been through it all with NEESR). But I'm confident you'll soon find the Springer suited just for you. I was congratulating the whole idea! It's still exciting, no? :D
OOOH! I got it now  I guess I misunderstood you. And yes, very exciting!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
