1. That's great! I can't wait for pictures!

so....It's 90 degrees out. I hand my kid 5.00 to go get something to eat, since its too hot to cook. he comes back 10 minutes later...with an 8 week old kitten.
COURT!! Tell your son to STEP AWAY FROM THE KITTY!!! Geez, kitties do NOT make for good dinners. Even if not for the ethical thing, there's just no meat on dem bones... *reads rest of post* Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh, well then congratulations on the new family member! And, yes, you are a sucker, or what would you be doing here with the rest of us suckers?
  :laugh2_2:
2. Do you think they would like an article about the life of a shelter dog and how it gets put to sleep or how it finds a good home? If it's the good home one it could end in saying something like if you donate you will give many great dogs and cats the second chance they deserve? Is that kind of what you meant?
3. She looks so cute in her bandana! :D
4. I could do writing also, just tell me what they need and I would be happy to help!
5. I would get a new dog. I was attacked by a Shih-Tzu(my friends got it from a BYB and it is just the worst tempered dog ever...) but I still love dogs, which is why I have two great ones right now. Each dog is different.
6. Great news! Congratulations! :smilecolros:
7. The reason why this article is so terrible for me is because I know a family in my neighborhood just like this. They got their Lab mix puppy for their youngest son's birthday. They named her Maxey. While she was a little puppy they would do everything with her, but as she got older they really did nothing to train her. They just thought she would be well behaved all by herself. When she started chewing the carpet and jumping on people they decided they should leave her outside during the day and let her sleep in the garage at night. They feed her quality food and take her to the vet, but they just don't love her. The only contact they ever have with her is taking her on a five minute walk every day. She doesn't know how to act around other animals or people because she was never taught. When I look at her I just feel terrible. I want to do something to help Maxey, but I don't know what I can do.
8. Congratulations!
9. As for the wild animal thing...it is not a good idea to say the least. The dog could get very hurt by a wild animal. It could also catch lots of diseases from them. I would say you need a fence around your garden and a better security system, not a GSD.
10. Ok, I have a quote here-
"I'm familiar with hundreds of dog breeds, but what's an "outside dog?" Unless you're medically intolerant of it (and therefore can't take care of it in a medical emergency, so you shouldn't have it), making a dog stay outside is a costly waste. If it's for protection, what do you think I want to steal, your lawn? When you leave, do you put your valuables and your kids out in your yard? Just what is the dog "protecting" out there? ."-Dennis Fetko
11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JADA! :tort: :BIG: :drink1: :bday: :new-bday:
12. That's great! I can't wait for the pics.
13. I am so sorry this has happened  . I think what you are doing is best for your family. I hope she will find a great new home!
14. Ya, my dogs kill all stuffed things that come their way...and fleece blankets! That must mean they are super aggressive child killers!! :drinking:
15. I think Carolina Dogs, Siberian Huskies, Great Pryanese, Australian Shepherds, Rottweilers, and Doberman Pinschers are just to die for! They are so beautiful!
16.   That has to be the worst thing I have ever heard!! The poor dog didn't even do anything! If that was my dog that man would not be able to go out into public without me getting to him! :boom: :evilbat:
17. Ever since I was two I have loved dogs more then anything else. It all started with my old neighbor's Scottie, Chip(that's where one of my dog's name came from). My dad was not really a dog person, so it was nine years later we finally got dogs. We were only going to get one, but we just couldn't help getting both of the cute little puppies! We were planning on getting a Scottie, but then I did one of the internet things where it tells you what breeds would work for you, and the Carolina Dog was in the top five. My whole family was fascinated by them and we decided they were the breed for us. They have worked out great for our family and we just love them to pieces!
18. I have a story like these too... A few years ago at my old school we were having a party at night. Me and my friends were running around the upstairs halls and came by the library. The library was locked and no one was there, but there was a greenish glow and the faint outline of an old man in the corner. Needless to say we ran like h*** and told all our other friends  We think it was the spirit of the first principle there, who had died a few years earlier just looking out for his school. I know there are spirits everywhere...looking out for the places and people they love.
