Wow, Ive only been gone for a few days and this.... somehow I expected this to happen. First she wanted a tea cup chi :o then she got boonie who died like what? a month later and then Stryker... I personally was upset at the fact that she gave him up but at least hes happy... then Tank and its like, my doG, gimme a break, and now Moose???? plus between all this theres her having issues with Cody and Zoey and Justin. Plans to move to Texas, then Arizona... plans to have kids after she was about to leave her husband for his drinking problem. [b]And if your kids grow up having to live with a drunk dad and yelling parents or they grow up without a dad, I hope you remember that it was your decision and no one elses! [/b]I had to grow up without a dad and before that I watched him beat on my mom. Do you really want your kids to live with a drunk? Even if you dont have kids, think about your pets! Think about what youre doing to them right now!!! How long is it before Tank Cody and Zoey get on your nerves and you decide to get rid of them, even if you think its "better for them"??? And how long will it be before you replace them because your "lonely"??? That just makes me sick! Personally DAL, if you even read this, I know you claim that meds screwed you up... and I can relate after being on 7 different meds in a month... but I think you have issues WAY beyound the meds. Get help, for the animals sake!

I havent exactly updated you all on Kat since I got her. Im sorry! She keeps me busy and when its not her its my mom. The new house is full of more responsibilty then I wanted, thats for sure! :x Anyway, Kat is doing great! Shes still scared of a lot of things but shes doing a bit better about it. When people come over she hides under the bed, but I grab her by the collar and put her on leash then take her out in the living room. If the person is an animal person then I have them feed her a treat. She even went up to a man! Im so proud of my baby! She still freaks out during storms though. The ice maker and even cabinets used to scare her but not anymore so thats great! She and Lucky... well, they arent too fond of each other. :lol: Actually Kat likes Lucky but Lucky just wants her to stay away. She wants to play with him but Lucky just swats at her like, "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!!!" And of course this only makes her more interested in playing so then she starts whining at him so he runs and she chases him. :roll: Other than that theyre fine... no aggression that needs to be worried about. She has chewed up both mine and my mom's comforters. :x The hole in mine is bigger :roll: the night she put the hole in my blankie there was even a bone next to her. Apparently she got bored of it and moved on! Ah the joys of owning a dog! :lol: She also likes to chew up USED kleenex! :o GROSS!!! Kat is so cute! When we come home from being out somewhere she gets so excited she starts howling! Almost like baying... its really deep too, and definitely confirms the beagle or whatever kind of hound in her. She doesnt tuck her tail anymore! ...well, at least inside. Outside shes fine as long as I have her running. Otherwise cars and kids scare her, she tucks her tail, and tries to get away. Most of the time shes on heel and I try to keep her focused on walking, not the scary object/person. I plan on going to the Plano Dog Park soon with one of the volunteers from Straydog and her pittie Dex (I know pit bull in dog park not the best idea but thats not the point of my post.) I cant wait! It will be a good chance for Kat to socialize. plus you all will get plenty of pics! :wink: So yeah, overall shes doing good! :D

What if people put their own tattoo or notch and dont have it spayed or neutered? Dont you think peopole will do that if they want to breed them badly enough?

K, if pet cats have vet records of being spayed/neutered why would they need a notch in their ear?

Shara I love pits but I could live without purebreds... actually I cant say that I ever have met a purebred pit bull anyway. I dont exactly blame the responsible breeders for the shelters overpop. problem but I dont think their helping. I do blame the irresponsible ones though. I give up on trying to explain my opinion. Bottom line is what I want will never happen. Yes, education is the only realistic idea to solve this problem. I will never ever agree with breeding though. Im more accepting of responsible breeders but nothing more than that. Ugh, humans are pure evil. Its all our fault animals suffer so much.

Abker, I cant argue anything against what you said. You really are amazing, I agree. I just get so frustrated over this issue, I dont really think. I hate to see the suffering that humans cause. Its overwhelming. I still dont really agree with breeding but everyones right, my thoughts are unrealistic.
