Y'know I saw her in your sig the other day and wanted to tell you to adopt her, because she was just too cute! Congratulations! As for her breed, she looks like a purebred Lovable Mutt. I really don't see any distingusihing breed features in her. But she has a very sweet face!

Me neither, the whole thing was completely unbelieveable. I don't plan too either, especially after I got into a PM spat with the admin after I posted something about the whole subject. I was shocked I didn't get banned.

Wow he's gorgeous! I prefer French Ring but I've always liked Schutzhund too.

Honestly I think she's doing the right thing. Tully is an outstanding representitive of her breed. If people like her didn't breed amazing dogs like Tully we'd be left with nothing but badly bred dogs. I'm all for rescuing, and I always will be but I don't think it means repsonsible breeders should stop breeding. I would kill for a pup of such a wonderful dog like Tully. We both only want the best for dogs, and to stop the BYB's from pumping out puppies. If there wern't responsible breeders dogs wouldn't be what we have today. There would be no breeds, no health tested titled dogs, just ones not worthy of being bred. We need responsible breeders just as much as we need rescues.

Are you planning ot buy a mixed breed? Can I ask why when theres hundreds of breeds to choose from, and no need for more. Not to mention literally millions upon millions of dogs are killed every year in shelters, if you want a mixed breed why not rescue on of those? I do not believe in breeding mixbreeds, or creating new breeds when there's no use for them. No, I do not wish for these crossbreeds to become a breed.

I hate rawhide, my last GSD choked on a large piece. Luckily she hacked it out pretty quickly. I've heard lots of stories of pigs ears making dogs sick, we don't give those either. The dogs love marrow bones, but Lucky has a sensitive tummy and the marrow gives him the runs. By far my favorite bones are knuckle bones. They're hard and almost impossible to break, and theres no marrow. Fresh raw bones are the best, but if you can't get those the ones at the pet shop should do.

I don't know about home remedies, I don't know if I'd even try it. I doubt treatment would be hundreds of dollars though. I do know ringworm is contagious, and humans and other dogs can get it.

Thats different then someone making money off designer breeds. A conformation title is nice, but it only proves the dog looks like the breed standard, not that it can do what it was intended to do.

Chaos is very lady-like. She rarely drips like the "boys" do. They're both slobs about drinking and leave puddles. Lucky prefer drinking from a bottle though, I always bring water on walks and Lucky drinks as much as he can. He takes the spout in the side of his mouth and let me pour it down his throat. The other two just lick the water someing out of the spout like normal dogs.

You use that word flaming too lightly. Flmaing is name calling and specifically attacking, not stating opinions. Who did I specifically flame? The original poster in that aussie whatever thread? I just commented and stated my OPINION that where the person got the dog wasn't right. Her sig said something that mildly offended me, she was insulting a breed I used to own without even spelling it right. So I pointed it out. Anything else I should apologize for?

Like I said on that other board, flaming is against the rules. The mods do not allow that, I've seen it. NO ONE flamed you. No one called you any names. No one did anything but ask you to stop doing a job that was not yours, and simply to not read threads that you don't like. What a hypocrite, you asked why we can't be nice to people and stop hurting their feelings, yet start a thread with the title "jerks"? Geez! If you wanted to leave then leave! Pit Bulls arn't really great first dogs anyway. They take a lot of work and don't forget you'll always be dealing with people putting down your breed and your dog. Plus if the dogs turns out dog/animal aggressive you have a whole new issue to deal with, and a big one at that. Don't forget you have the rest of your life to own pits.
