1. I think they're all adorable. Let me know which one you finally decide to get. Would love to see pictures :) I'm a fanatic for pet photos.
2. I joined. Looks like a great site and K is there so it can't go wrong. She's a good Moderator. We should all build it up and go chat once a week :)
3. I don't see mine :( Can you do one for Lady and Tobi? :) You're really good at that!!
4. An underactive thyroid sounds like it can be easily controlled with meds. Thank God. Isn't the Internet awesome how we can find out just about any info we want?!! Hope she's ok, please keep us updated on her progress.
5. How horrible that someone would do that to an animal? Jesus, what are peeps thinking when they do evil things like that?!! Poor baby!! I'm so glad you rescued him. I don't know much about Weimeraners, but there's a member at my site named Kristi who featured her Weimer named Tilli. If you go to Cutefamilypets.com and click on "Previously Featured Pets" -- you'll see Tilli's name and story. You might try posing a question at the forum for Kristi and she can probably help you out. They are beautiful dogs. I hope you get to keep him. I hope the guy that shot him is arrested
6. Which type of Chihuahua will you be getting? A long-hair chi or a short-hair? We have the Long-Hair type. If you want to see a few more, stop by Cutefamilypets.com and click on Breed Gallery -- I have a few of my member's chihuahuas displayed on there. I can tell you they are absolutely wonderful little bets. Read about Buffy, she belongs to my daughter (weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces, 2 years old) at the page labeled "About Us." All I know is that to own a Chihuahua is to fall in love with the breed.
7. I'm new so nice to meet you!! Those are some cool looking dogs you have there. :)
8. You're doing a nice job with it. It's fun creating a page for our pets. I swear in that pic your dog looks like a Curly Coated Retriever. Really cute.
9. You're not the only one. Tobi likes vanilla ice cream, specially on hot summer days. Lady is not crazy about ice cream at all, but she loves ice.
10. You have a pretty fur-family. I'm glad you didn't throw in the towel. They're both beautiful. How well do they get along?
11. I wish I could go back to a time of being grounded by my parents, with no other responsibility other than to do good in school and stay out of trouble. *sigh*

What a touching story. Do get yourself a Chihuahua. We have 3 of them in the family and they're absolutely great!! :)
13. We're here to listen. Would love to hear your story.
14. Sadly, I stand corrected - the Rottie is the top biter for now. This link has info: http://www.uwsp.edu/psych/dog/LA/Chirichigno1.htm I still think it's not the dog's fault :(
15.
i agree with the others THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS JUST BAD OWNERS
I agree. I saw statistics on the top biters. I think the Golden Retriever was at the top of the list. Let me see if I can locate that link again and I'll post it. I feel ANY DOG, specially the little ones, can be biters if they are not properly trained and disciplined. Poor Rotties -- they're getting a bad rap just like the Pit Bulls :(
16. I have a contest at my website every quarter so I thought it would be nice to have one here :) Glad to see you're all receptive to the idea :) When and where? Would love to include my babies as well.
17. Always go with your gut instincts!! :) He looks friendly and the name Karma says it all. :) Hope you bring him home.
18. Does this site have a pet contest?
19. Good topic. Let's see: 1) They love us no matter how we look; 2) They love us even if we're having a bad day; 3) If you're away 10 minutes, they act as though they haven't seen you in a year and joyously come to your side; 4) They understand our moods and know when something is bothering us; and most of all, 5) They brighten up our lives. :) Having said that, I feel like giving them a hug right now. Too bad I'm at work :(
20. Your photos are just awesome!! :) Those are some Setters you have there :) Very beautiful. I didn't know White Setters existed. They're just as adorable. Very nice pictures.
21. I just got to work, now I can play :)
22. Grooming can be hard work, unless your fur-kid enjoys it, like Tobi does. I think he is in pure heaven when I say "Ok, bath time" -- he actually jumps around in circles and right into my arms. No fuzzing there. Here are a few photos (you guys must know by now that was coming -- I love taking photos of them, even when they sleep): "I do look kinda wet, if I do say so myself" "Why am I'm licking myself and acting like a cat?" "Woo-hoo!!! I do luv spinning around after a good bath!!" "Spinning is hard work, I'm tired!!"
23. Rowie, I'm just trying to do my part. You know, this past weekend, I visited PETsMART, and they had a shelter by the name of "Born Free Pet Shelter" with at least 25 pets needing a home. My heart was super-heavy when I left there without bringing one home. I've come to the point of realizing that being a good pet owner is knowing your limits in how many pets you can properly care for. If it were up to my impulses, I would have brought at least 10 home. I fell in love with a Sheltie, with the saddest eyes you've seen on a pooch. There were so many cats and older dogs which I know are very hard to place. When you talk to these people and they tell you the stories of how those dogs came to be there, it downright makes you cry. They deserve so much better. I'll just feel like I won the lottery if I can find ONE a good home.
24. I work with the Greater Miami Humane Society in trying to find their animals a home. It's so sad how many they have and how people can just drop off their pets for no valid reason other than lack of training. It's pathetic. I'm hoping to make a difference in the life of at least one. This link has adoptable pets which I rotate on a bi-weekly basis. If you're in the Miami area, please check it often and spread the word. They all deserve a home. 25. I would love to see more pictures of your Sheltie. Do you have a link? I used to have a supervisor who had 2 of them. Very smart, active dogs with a personality of their own. Any time he had a get together, the dogs would try to herd people into a corner. It was hilarious. He treats them as thought they are his babies (he's a bachelor and lives alone with his pets). He cooks FOR THEM and takes them to the groomer every 3 weeks. They look regal and are very beautiful to look at. The only thing I noticed about Shelties is that they like to nip at your heels. Has that happened with yours? It may be a characteristic of their breed, I dunno.
