I don't think him looking like a pitbull should stop anyone from adopting him. I mean, I know plenty of pitbulls that are wonderful family pets. They get such a bum rap through the media!! :evil: I hope this fur-kid finds a loving home.

It really bothers me when I read that a pet might be put down. It's like I can't stop thinking about that. He is truly beautiful and deserves a home!! I'm sending an email to all my members and friends. That's so sad. I can't take him :( :(

That ridgeback was stunning. My hubby had never seen that breed and he was amazed when he saw the ridge on her back. What a truly magnificent breed. Did you see the Great Danes? They were massive and so well-behave. I tell you, I felt like a child in a candy store. The Dalmatians were so cute and well-behaved. I used to own 2 of them and it brought back great memories of how much I loved them. The agility run was the greatest, but all the pics came out blurry :( I'll know better next time to take a regular camera, instead of the digital for those. Somehow they didn't come out right or I need practice. Those Shelties are SO SMART and playful!! I wish they had a Dog Fair at least every month. I had a blast. This past Sunday, my husband and I attended a Dog Fair held here in Miami, Florida. What a wonderful event that was. The pets were awesome and -- of course -- I went bananas taking pictures. What a beautiful, beautiful (I'll say it again), beautiful dog that is. The agility section was so much fun and those shelties are just too much. What a smart breed that is.

Lemon-dog, just disregard what they wrote. The person is just generalizing and stating a sick opinion. There are no bad dogs, just bad breeders/owners.

My Flat-Coated Retriever, Lady, was afraid of thunder, but has somehow now gotten over it. My Long-Hair Chihuahua, Tobi, gets defensive at it and starts barking. Our other Long-Hair Chihuahua, Buffy, is not intimidated by anything, she doesn't care if it's pouring and thundering outside, it doesn't phase her. Good luck with that.

but I'm having a horrendously busy week, that I can't even find time to post at my own board. Don't go thinking I forgot about you guys. The latest event was tiny Buffy running away from home for about an hour. My daughter was hysterical looking for her. She made a dash for the door and got out when her husband was leaving. Nobody noticed it and by the time Maggie started to call her 10 minutes later, she was gone. [b][color=orange][size=7]Thank God[/size][/color][/b] she was found, but what a scare that was!!

It's incredible I got Tobi spinning like that. You know he does that right after every single time I give him a bath!! He loves to be groomed. The only thing he doesn't like is getting his nails trimmed, but other than that, I can do just about anything to him and he's happy. I'll try to take some more pics this weekend. His hair has grown alot and he looks really cute.

He was very feisty and he had a funny personality. There were so many great qualities about him that we miss, except for the in-born trait of dashing out the door whenever someone came in. He belonged to my sister and they tried very hard to break him off that habit, but Tiny succeeded in sneaking out with tragic consequences. :( :( :( He will be forever missed. I love looking at his pictures and thinking about good times. He loved me a lot and he knew that I adored him.

What a cutie!! I've been whining for a Great Dane for quite a number of years :( without success. I'll keep trying. :roll: This is one type of bothering I think we all here enjoy, so please keep at it :)

There are way too many pets (including purebreeds) needing a home at shelters, that are euthanized every year because they don't have a home. Please seriously consider adoption and spaying your females. Do it for the love of the breed and the pets.

I can't help you at all :( because I have the same problem with Lady and Tobi. If they are separated, either one will whine the whole time. I've been working on this problem for quite some time without solution. :(
