Sounds like Tyr in a way. He looks menacing and tough, but get him close enough to any dog/person/moving object, and he's all wags and whines. And even though he's twice Kavik's size and weight, he doesn't throw it around much. Kavik is still the Alpha :)

Our next-door neighbours have a Jack, named Jack, oddly (their kid just kept calling it Jack, not understanding, being two and all). But they aren't great owners. It whines and barks for HOURS on end :-? and occasionally they leave him outside for too long, considering its winter and Jacks aren't exactly snowdogs.

Hehe cute. Kavik recently shoved Zaphod off of DP's chest for snuggles, and if any dog gets snuggles other than Tyr, Tyr will do this adorable Arrarrarrarr things and force himself in. Being more than twice the size and weight of either of the others, he succeeds nearly every time.

The red and orange items in the ingredients list posted by DP are the high sodium content items. Tyr is laid back and doesn't get excited unless you work him up to it.

I can't find a sodium amount listed on our dog food.. :hmmmm: we feed them MMillenia Solid Gold..
