:D I have siberian huskies and I feed nutro high energy dog food. Then with my puppies I feed them the Pro Plan chicken and rice formula. The adults of course get to eat some of the Pro Plan whatever the pups don't finish. When my female was nursing she ate the Eukanuba weaning diet food mixed with puppy milk replacer and she did excellant on it. It is kinda expensive $12 for a 6lb bag but I will definatly do it again. She nursed all the time until they were 3 weeks old and then 2-4 times a day until now and they are 6 weeks old and she has actually gained some weight and is about 3 lbs over her pregnancy weight. The vet said she looks great for having alitter nurse on her until 6 weeks old. Most dogs loos weight when they nurse not her and I think it was the food. The vet said they were big for 6 weeks old too and he said that is good and it was due to her nursing them so long.

That is the most disgudting thing I have ever read. That is so awful. I am dumbfound right now for words. aagghhhh. :evil: That lady I hope was prosicuted for that.

:cry: I am so sorry. I know how you feel I am to mourning the death of a beloved pet that was so loveable. She was my sweet cat Ashley. She was only 6 years old and had a heart attack, we tried to save her by rushing her to the emergencey vets but we were too late she died 10 mins after we got there, They took her xray and said it was heart defect that was a genetic problem and that there was nothing we could have done to help her or to prevent it. My 2 siberian huskies still look for her and it has been a week. I still open up closet doors and expect for her to meow at me and walk out and rub my leg. SO I am sorry and feel your pain.

my huskies favorite toy is a squeky ball that cost 99 cents from petsmart. I have to buy 1-2 a week because he plays so hard with them that they start to fall apart and I am afraid he will eat some of it. Then he likes toilet paper. :multi:

:lol: I love the chech version of a shepherd. They are so pretty. What breeder are you getting your pup from. Does she have a website we can see? THat is what I want. I have 2 siberian huskies and if you know huskies they are not protection dogs, MIne will lick any stranger that comes to the house. They are intimidating looking though. I want a dark sable german shepherd to join my family. I had one when I was growing up the german version and it was the best dog ever. I would love to know more about the difference.

I have a question about my pregnant husky. She is due around the 16th of Jan. I want to know is when you start to see a clear discharge from her is that any indication that she will have the pups in the next week? I do know she is supposed to have th dischrage and all and that as long as it is clear you are not to worry. I do not want anybody to say anything about me breeding my husky. Every pup she is having already has a home. I am making the new owners to sign a contract too that will state that if for any reason during the lifetime of the pet they are no longer able to keep him/her they are to return the dog to me. Or if they have a new home for it then they are to let me know and I will tell them whether it is ok. Also in this contract if I find that they are not doing as the contract says then they will be fined $500. I am being very careful who gets my puppies. I am not going to give them to just anybody, If I have to I will keep everyone of them. :D
