3. Sneaky, sneaky :nono: My guys do the same type of thing, will just dissapear and you look around and somebody is on the good couch in the livingroom. I like to set an appearance that I don't have any dogs at all in the house, and that's not easy. I do a lot of cleaning :o
4. He just likes you
5. I used to feed raw, but it got really expensive for 3 dogs and a pain to fix. I did it mostly for health reasons which have become better over the past 6 months or so, so I tried a dry food again. I really like, and so does the dogs, Natural Balance.
6.
My major problems with it are other people's irresponsibility and problems with their dogs being trained well enough, and having proper socialization
I agree!!!!!!
7. Yea!! I love snow. It's only raining here. Too warm :-?
8. Wow, what great progress!!!!!!!!!!
9. We go to two dog parks in the area and love them. We only had one problem in all the time and it was this beautiful almost white lab that ran clear across the park and tackled Chelsea. She threw a fit and was basically yelling (high pitch bark) at this dog. It's owner finally came to see what all the commotion was about and he thought Chelsea was the problem :x I came right out and told him his dog tackled her!!!! We left shortly after that. For the most part, I think they are great. It is especially good for Chelsea who needs constant socialization. It has really helped her. We are fortunate to have a decent park in the area. They actually charge a yearly fee and are good about upkeep and poo bags and etc. There is a web site called www.dogpark.com where you can find parks in your area. But, I know they are updating it and it won't be finished until the spring.
10. Awww, poor Meg. RIP dear girl

That was really good!!! Sometimes they are all we have and it IS enough!! Great poem!!
19. I have a baby gate, well two actually. We use them to block the dogs out when we need to. My bigger problem is when WE come home and to the door and get attacked by three dogs....... Try a gate, and I guess try not to make a big fuss. That's what we are trying. Good luck!
20. I know it sound silly, but I hung your stocking dear Trixie. We are missing you so much. We haven't had a Christmas without you for 17 1/2 years....... RIP dear girl, and Merry Christmas  Merry Christmas To One and All As we all enter this joyful season, If life is sad or happy or any reason. Forgive others who don't understand, Reach out and offer your friendly hand. Give your support and understanding that's there, Share your Love with all and give it with care
21.
they have made up a story that I am so desperate for a man that I am trying to abduct passed out ones and drag them to my car!
Oh Cassie!!! that was too funny. I am sitting here all alone and laughing my "Jack" off!!!!! Oh good one!!! (Sounds a little like our Christmas party last week  - we got all the ROTC officers to take us out after our party and they danced and bought us drinks all night!!)
22. Courtnek, God, so sorry to hear about your troubles :( Why don't you see if you can hire a bodyguard (cheap - maybe someone from the neighborhood or work or etc....???? or let him know that you have, even if you haven't) Hopefully the dogs will bite him in the you-know-what if he shows up!!!! Get your locks checked too... deadbolts with keys on both sides so even if he broke a window, he would need a key to get in. Do you have an alarm? If not, sometimes they will sell you the stickers if you don't have the money for a system.... If you don't have a cell phone, get one and keep it charged and with you all the time. Program 911 into it to be ready Good luck!!!
23. Oh, I can just picture him sitting there  You are a true hero!!! I'm sure he will back to normal weight in no time. Thank God you were there at the right time and right place!!
24. Hi, Chelsea was just a year old around Sept/Oct. She is a Border Collie/Lab/GR mix????? She was a rescue, so we're not sure. Jake is 7 months and a yellow lab, and they have been together for the past 7 months. They have only drawn blood once, and Jake was the one bleeding :o He is the biggest of my three. (Daisy- Choc lab - is four and doesn't partake much) They are constantly bitting each other's legs, necks and etc., and chasing and wrestling. It gets to be a realy pain, because they knock things over in the house at times. They are both mutually aggressive. Chelsea was around just a few months longer than Jake, but wanted to take the alpha role right away. Jake quickly took over the lead, but Chelsea keeps trying to get it back!! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
25.
PLAY AGGRESSION Play aggression is simply not having been taught how to "play nice", which sounds trite, but is very true. What appears to be "play aggression" may be the early stages of the what becomes "possessive aggression" if not corrected early on. Play aggression, in my experience is one of the easiest of aggressions to overcome.
My Jake and Chelsea play like this, how do you teach them to "play nice"?
