i voted no. i was thinking about the four year old i lost. could not go though all that again. she would have been what they would want to see if next time she could be saved from kidney failure. it still would not be right to put an animal through all that again. there must be another way to do research. even if you have an old animal it would not be right the new puppy should be loved for its self. not because its a copy of the one you have just lost or :cry: are about to lose :cry:

we do show the younger two. they are only seven months old just to see how they go. started in the fun shows. did it as a socalization exercise. they enjoyed it. we now enter the small local club shows. i would not say we are part of the scene :) :) :) :)

i agree with training for new owners before they get the dog or puppy. then later with their dog. for heavy fines for owners if their dog attackes anyone.

maybe she is afraid. one of mine will just freeze if she is afraid. take your time try making a smaller course that might work :) :) :) :)

my shar-peis are good with other dogs and chilren. health and good temprement was the most important to me. the breeder socialized them before she sold them to us. i take them out every day they enjoy meeting other people and dogs while we are out. :wink: :wink:
