japanese spitz --> brown tinge on fur

i recently got my 2nd japanese spitz (6 weeks old) and wondering as to why there is a brown tinge to the ears and head on his fur?

I've been told that the parents have been given a beef based diet, (and i've heard that it gives a brown tinge to the fur), would this be carried on to the babies?

IF this is the case, will the fur be pure white again?

I have never had a jap spitz with brown tinges on them but I have seen other people with ones with pale biscuit colouring (like you get on samoyeds).
Never heard of food affecting the colour
I have bred them on and off since 1982 and lost my last one in 2007
