Breed Identification Help/suggestions!?!!!

[FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif]About a month ago I adopted a dog from a local animal shelter in my town. They were very un-informative, providing no breed/health/history. My friends automatically thought he was a chihuahua. I dont believe he is though. Ive done research online for hours on end, trying to figure out what breed he is. A rat terrier? He had his first check up last week and the vet said he was mostly yorkie. I feel as if she (the vet) was just shooting anything out, and she was just rushing the whole time. I just really am clueless on this! Knowing the breed would be helpful, apreciated and extremely beneficial to his health!! [/FONT]
